The lady's who work here are so sweet and kind but the on younger guy was very very rude me and my boyfriends went in here just to love on there animals and we went to the dog side and a very kind women was taking some of the dogs to go potty and had let us pet the dogs when all of a sudden a rude younger guy comes on and says " You can't interact with the animals..... not without signing a waiver" which I would have had no problem with except his tone was degrading and they have NO SIGNS UP stating that in the dog room so I WONT be returning here.THANKS TO A VERY RUDE GUY!! read more

Visited there for the first time this past weekend. They had a very aggressive dog that almost bit me. Fortunately it was caged, but within the adoptable dog area. If I had not pulled my fingers out of the fence it would have bit me. It continuously jumped aggressively on the door, barking, showing its teeth and trying to bite us I have supported shelters for decades to include working and doing animal assessments there. I know this dog is not safe, if it had bit my child I would probably sued the shelter. I told the lady working the front desk about the incident. She showed no care nor concern about us or our safety. She just said that the dog is not like when outside of the cage. So she and the shelter is aware of the issue and choose not to deal with it. Their irresponsibility and lack of care for the dog and public safety is egregious I strongly suggest not supporting this shelter until they correct this issue, and to report any other similar incidents that you encounter there. read more

When one walks in to see a piglet with milk teeth still needing mama (but being fed pellets and not understanding it is not eating veggies bc it doesn't have full teeth), sitting in all its own urine and feces bc AN ANIMAL SHELTER DOESN'T KNOW PIGS NEED LITTER BOXES AND AREN'T DOGS and find out this little princess is actually a prince bc they thought the penis was a belly button as she shakes in fear, one has to wonder....WHY? If you are taking responsibility for an animal know how to do it or call in someone who does. And when someone asks you to provide a litter box, you don't laugh and roll your eyes Patty. How would you like to be in HIS place. Better make sure there's a neuter clause in the contract or you'll have 10 more in no time. BTW. It's a shame I couldn't give them zero stars read more

They care deeply for the animals here and the staff is kind! They also have a room where the cats roam around that is soothing to visit. Highly recommend place to adopt. read more

They are deceitful and untrustworthy. They facilities look nice, but that is it. The employees lie about the animals to cover up disease and availability. They will tell you the puppy transport to the vet for neutering can only be signed up for in person and payment in full, then they will take telephone reservations without accepting money. They will allow you to think you can adopt a pet and pick it up after you've gone to a pet store and purchased the supplies the staff strongly recommends, but then they will change their minds without a courtesy call or a refund. They call it a donation. They will then pressure you to accept another animal or walk away with nothing and less money. They will then lie about the age and health of that animal. NO REFUNDS even when they lie. read more
