Glenn Helder is a true professional who raises the bar for what a home inspection should be. From the moment he arrived, his thoroughness and calm, pleasant demeanor made me feel confident I was in expert hands. His responsiveness leading up to the inspection and quick turnaround on the final report were also a breath of fresh air during a fast-moving process. But what truly stood out was Glenn's sage and honest advice. He identified major short-term costs that I hadn't initially factored in--costs that would have been financially and emotionally taxing had I gone forward blindly. Thanks to his insight, I was able to walk away from a potentially burdensome purchase. Beyond that, Glenn provided thoughtful recommendations for long-term upgrades and preventative fixes that felt more like guidance from a seasoned contractor than a typical home inspector. Then proceeded to look over every inch - crawling into crawl spaces, measuring moisture levels in various areas, checking the integrity of different structures. He spent nearly 4.5 hours at the house. The inspection was completed on a Thursday evening and he completed the 101 page report by Sunday (on a holiday weekend).
