I have used George G for two inspections in the past 45 days. The first time he alerted me to serious structural problems in a nearly million dollar home. Paying for his inspection was about the best money I have ever spent. About 40 days later, (2 days ago) I had George inspect a home I found to replace my failed first contract. This time the house faired better, but the important thing is that George was very thorough, very detail oriented and a great communicator to explain his findings and concerns. He not only identified problem areas in the home, but also addressed the ways to correct them and an estimate of what one might expect to ameliorate the problem. Beyond that, George addressed maintenance so that I can keep up with a large and complex home. He explained what issues I can expect to encounter over the next few years and what I need to do to prevent problems from cropping up. We are purchasing a condo in Ann Arbor from out of state and had to find an inspector. This is the first one I called, and I was impressed by the time George took to understand our situation and what we were looking for. He worked with us before hand to answer questions and schedule the inspection when we didn't have much time to do so. George performed a home inspection on a condo property we're acquiring in Ann Arbor. His review was thorough and complete. He was very professional and informative. The property is newer and so there wasn't much in the way of needed repairs or defects, but he definitely identified some items that were important to know about. He did radon testing as well. I was not able to attend the inspection in person. I appreciated that he called me from the property after he did the inspection and gave me a verbal download.
