Unbelievably professional and helpful. I've never dealt with a broker for my insurance before…read morehaving always had my insurance with Geico and before that Allstate. That was until a friend recommended Mike at Malpigli & Associates. He spent at least half an hour on the phone with me explaining all of my coverage and what each was meant to cover. He showed me that high deductibles are not always the best value and showed me where my coverage could use some improvement and where what I had was good. It became clear pretty quickly that if you only spend 15 minutes on your insurance you are probably missing something important. He took all of my information, explained how the companies underwrite and what they all look for. He promised to get back to me in an hour or two and he called me back in half an hour with rates from three companies that were less than what I was paying with lower deductibles and higher coverage. He recommended a company I had never heard of but came to realize is a great company. (Utica National) He saved me $848 over Geico lowered my deductibles and tripled my coverage. He also gave me rates for Travelers, Hartford and Progressive but Utica was the best for me. He said he would "squish the lizard" and boy did he! If you're getting ready to pay your car insurance do yourself a BIG favor and call Mike at Malpigli and Associates. You'll be glad you did. I know I am.

Please please be very careful with this agency. Ana Maria Martins was supposed to cancel my new…read morepolicy on 2/10/23 since I chose to not purchase the new car. Every few days I would reach out to her via phone and email and was continuously told my refund will be "credited back to my card" in a few days. Every time I reached out the answer was "another one or two days". By 3/3/23 I still did not receive it. I then called the underwriting department at State Farm and a supervisor informed me that Ana did not request the cancelation until 2/28/23. The supervisor informed me it was because Ana held off to get commission from the sale of the auto policy. I was called back on 3/7/23 and was informed they do not refund to a debit or credit card. They only send a check. On 3/7/23 I was told it was printed and mailed. Today is 3/11/23, still no check however other things from state farm dated for 3/8 and 3/9 were in my mailbox today. Please do yourself a great service and completely skip this specific office. It should under no circumstances take 5 weeks for a refund without the refund even being received.

I rarely give 5-star review but I feel Coastal Insurance and their team deserve this recognition…read more Recently I purchased a house and my mortgage broker pushed me to use their insurance company for obvious reason. While the pricing is great, I wanted to compare both the rate and the coverage. I emailed 5 different insurance companies and 4 of them immediately said "we'll get you the same policy for the same money" but only ONE came back to me and said you are not being covered properly and there's conflicting info in the underwriting language. That firm was none other than Coastal Insurance (see attached email). While their policy came back to be $200 more, but their policy also offers substantially more coverage. I would've rather pay the extra money than to leave myself exposed to a potential loss and claim denial b/c I didn't read the fine print. In a society where speed and cheap trumps service and common sense, it's refreshing to see a company that is thorough and didn't "sell me on price and price alone." Just an FYI, they also have an affiliate that provide tax grievance service and have saved me thousands of dollars with my commercial and residential properties.
