I have volunteered at the Stockton and Lodi Discovery Shops for over three years and actually came from volunteering in Lodi this morning. Over the last year I've noticed much higher prices and a notable decline in customer service. I decided to give it another shot today and went to the men's rack and found a pair of shorts with the Barb on it but no tag and a volunteer had just picked up a tag under the clothes rounder where I found it so I went and found her and I said I bet that tag is from these shorts. It looks like the majority of the shorts are $5 and if you could re-tag it for me I'd appreciate it. She said absolutely, I got a $5 tag back there. Well, she came back and informed me that the manager said sorry it has to stay back there for repricing. Well, I'm gonna tell you what, we would never do that in either of the Stockton/Lodi stores. If a customer was asking for something they found in the store that was not priced, both managers that I have worked with would re-price the item and have it sent back out for the customer who was awaiting for it. I'm not saying the price would be what I think it should be, but they would never say No, we will not re-price it now and bring it back so you can possibly purchase it. My call was answered with a recording that explained that a fake web site existed to sell boating products using the store's name. The message was apologetic. The woman on the message says the store is trying to get the site shut down. They are getting about 50 calls per day regarding the imposter website. (Fortunately, I had only spent a small amount.) (I was surprised the the imposter website posted the store's real phone number.)

This location is neatly organized and well kept. Well long story short, I misplaced my water bottle yesterday on 09/02/2026. Once I returned home from the visit I realized that I had left my water bottle on top of the book shelf on a Wednesday midafternoon time frame. I called and someone said they were going to place my water bottle behind the counter for me. Fast forward to the morning of 09/03/2026, Thursday morning I checked in with both of the person at the cash register. I informed her of what happened. She promptly called in the Assistant Manager, named Linda. Both Linda and the person at the cash register were both professional and very knowledgeable with their respective roles and expertise. I would like to give a big shout out to Linda, the assistant manager and the person at the cash register this morning. There was no one in the parking lot either. I really had my doubts about this store and wasn't planning on going back, but my mom wanted to go to one more thrift store and this one was the closest store. I'm glad we went. Monday was a different story. We arrived around 1 pm and the parking lot was busy and the rollaway gates were all pulled up and secured and you could see into the building though the glass windows. They have such nice displays in the windows. Lots of fine China. On there door they have a sign that says something about weave. I think they are run by weave and get their hand me downs from them. Or so I was told. I could be wrong so don't quote me. They have a good selection of clothing. The selection is small. It's nothing like the big thrift stores we have been visiting this weekend. Let's say small but mighty. I walked home with 2 pairs of dress pants. Ann Taylor and Talbots. They fit perfectly and under $3 each. I also got a White House Black Market blouse for $1.98. I wasn't in the market for dresses, but they had a lot of nice ones my size.
