The tire service and charges were competitive, but they charged, with labor, $310.55 for an oil and filter change...$100.47 for the oil, filters, and oil removal...and then $209.48 for the labor, which is insane. I am absolutely fine with the tire and the oil change - and I absolutely support paying your guys, I just thought it was a little high. No matter how I do the math, it doesn't come up to $150 give or take for the old change, filter, and labor for the oil change and filter - unless the coding is just wrong and the labor is mislabeled and should have been for the tires and mounting. I have run into Wilson's 3x now over the past 4 years with a hissing tire or an imbalance light or a needed patch repair. They are always welcoming and such a relief to get me on my way quickly - and often with no charge! This week was a bad week on a personal level, all the worst stressors lining up right before the holidays and on my way to an expensive appt my tires got a huge hole in it - I was around the corner from WIlson's so I ran over there with the tire fast deflating - They looked at it, told me it would be 15min - I asked if I could come back in 40 and still make my appt - they said "Sure". When I returned, there was a spare tire on and they explained what happened. (Giant piece of metal stuck in my tire). They cautioned against only replacing 2 tires due to my AWD drivetrain (something my other tire place does not think about). They refused to take my money - I basically had to insist like 5 times to put a tip in his hand - and i was able to drive away and get my kiddo on time. These guys are very pleasant to deal with, but I have had a couple of negative interactions and wouldn't recommend them at this point. 1) I went for an oil change and after asking what oil they'd use , i was told it's a "blend". I have never heard that one before. When I returned, they'd added an up-charge for patching a tire-- but they never called me to alert me of the issue before adding the extra charge. Nor did they show me where they had patched the tire. I felt like I had been taken for a ride, and left having paid $200 for an oil change. 2) Prior to my oil change, I had an alignment and tire rotation done. One year later, I took it to another alignment shop as I noticed my front tires are worn super unevenly and need to replaced despite only having ~20k miles on them. They found my alignment was way off, which presumably killed my tires. I discussed it with the folks at Wilson's, and they had no explanation for other than that the specific alignment issues wouldn't have caused the tire wear in question, and that the's just "how the car is" (I have owned this car for several years and this has not happened before). read more

I went to Goodyear to get my tire patched and they informed me it was irreparable due to tread. Given they were newer tires, I checked out Wilson's on a whim to get a second opinion. Juan and his crew are good, honest mechanics. They get the work done in a timely way. The last sweet of tires I bought from them lasted over 50 thousand miles! They maintain my car for oil changes and regular maintenance and I have not yet had a problem with my car despite having over 100k miles. They also did work on my husband's old beater-truck, and it has never run better. Highly recommend! read more

I stopped in for new tires for my beater truck. Juan was friendly yet he charged me literally 150% of the market rate for the tire, before labor. I asked him to select an inexpensive but decent quality tire (he didn't do that either) and give me a fair price, and I indicated I wasn't going to scrutinize or haggle. He did the total opposite--he selected a very high end tire, and he overcharged me substantially. I learned this with a few quick web searches afterward. Lost a customer for life. Unless you want to haggle your tail off...Avoid! I wouldn't trust someone like this who takes advantage of a local customer. Sad. read more

Don't waste your time with this dump!Apparently they have more money than they know what to do with. The owner is an ass and blew me off when I wanted my tires rotated and balanced. When I was asking questions, I must have asked too many, he threw his hands up and "why don't you just go home and do it." Then just walked away without saying anything else. My Tahoe was missing very badly and they spent the whole day trying to fix it when they finally determined that it was the Chevy computer that was malfunctioning. Despite all of their efforts, they did not charge me anything since they were not able to fix it. Instead they told me that it would require the dealership to fix the issue. Their quote to fix had been $500 and they easily could have charged me for the service but chose not to....I am forever loyal to this place now. Even today, I took my Ford in because a protective shield had come loose and was dragging on the ground. They fixed it in 5 minutes and refused to charge me. Needed am emergency replacement of my split valve stem on my RV, tried a number of places that couldn't lift my RV called Wilson's before I did any more driving. He confirmed my tire size to get an idea of the weight of my RV and said if I brought it over before the restaurant opened next door they could do it right away. I had a weird situation with the mechanism that holds my spare tire under my car. I was told I needed to have someone look at it and find out what's wrong in order to have it covered by insurance. The owner looked at it and let me know that the whole mechanism needed to be replaced. I forgot to explain the insurance thing to him first, so offered to pay for his time if my insurance wouldn't be able to use his company. He said, "don't worry about it," and let me go without paying. My insurance gave me a list of providers that Wilson tires wasn't on, so I won't be able to use his company, but wanted to give him a stellar review for helping me out and being so cool about it. read more
