Everyone there is so nice! The property is beautiful and very well maintained. Now let's get to the most important part, the horses! They have some beautiful horses and I've only ridden 2 there, but Reno is the best horse ever. He's one of those unicorn horses, the kind that make you fall in love with horses. I have recommended Celestial Riding to several friends and family members already and will continue to do so, I can not recommend them enough.

While…read morenothing seriously wrong, was not happy with the constant turn over of employees (trish was the best!!!!) sanitary conditions of the barn, lack of training equipment (jumps, barrels etc) and while turnouts were daily, depending on weather, pastures were not up to snuff for grazing horses. Owners were absentee, with their young daughter as barn manager, who was rarely around. Overall was not terrible, but for amount of board charged was expecting more care and attention to the horses and owners.

Both trainers have their own scheduling board so the students can see which horse they are riding. So far every time I have come my trainer has been on time and was already in the barn by the time I came. The horses there are well-trained and gentle. The facilities there are very nice. My lessons have also been very good as well. Each lesson I rode the full duration and was not shorted at all. My only complaint is that there is no dressage arena(or arena emptied of jumps). This means that working on dressage can be difficult since you can't work in the full size of a dressage arena. There are also no letters so for those who are just learning dressage this can make things more difficult.

While the mission is truly incredible, our experience as volunteers didn't reflect that. We often felt unclear on expectations, received little guidance on working with the horses, and experienced inconsistent communication. At times, interactions felt distant, which made it hard to feel fully welcomed. Our final visit to the garden club--where we were initially told it was "full" without prior notice--ultimately solidified that this wasn't the right fit for us, though we appreciated Erin stepping in to let us help. That said, Monica and Dylan were wonderful and very supportive. I genuinely believe in the mission and hope the volunteer experience continues to improve with more structure and communication.

As soon as you step onto the property, you automatically exhale, the body naturally relaxes and a big smile spreads across your face.  My 4 year old recently attended the Sunny Brook Stables Spring Camp and had an absolute blast. Not only is the farm setting, with the 14 horses, clucking ducks and chickens, munching goats and pot bellied pigs incredibly idyllic, but the people working there are also all so wonderfully warm and welcoming! My 4 year old quickly bonded with her camp counselor Trinity who is full of bubbles of laughter, warmth, enthusiasm and joy! My daughter has been constantly talking about her experiences there since and repeatedly asking to return. She attended on the recommendation of an older friend, and we're so happy we listened. You'll find that if you go on our recommendation, you too will soon be highly recommending it to others!

Dr. Holman was very kind and considered and interviewed me. She took time out of her busy schedule to interview me and watch me ride, even though she didn't really need assistance. I didn't end up working there but I was thoroughly impressed with her incredible horsemanship skills.
