Called ABC Junk Removal in November '17 left a msg. Got a call back from Jeff asking if I'd called ABC. I said yes. He came and gave a quote for a full day's work with 2 truck and trailer loads. Job wasn't set until March '18. Right before he tried to up the price, came again a few days before the job was to be done and looked at what needed to be done again and said he'd stick with the original $650 full day 2 truck and 2 trailer loads but demanded cash. We requested a business receipt. They came as scheduled. Worked for 2 hours (NOT a full day) and only took 1 truck and 1 trailer full. Still said it cost the full $650. Reluctantly gave Scott the cash and he scribbled out a receipt on a plain piece of paper saying "paid in full $650 ABC Junk Removal". Later filed complaint against ABC with the Better Business Bureau. Got text from owner of ABC saying he did not do the job but when he got my msg he gave my name and info to Jeff Wilson of Wilson Property Services. I told the owner of ABC that Wilson grossly overcharged us and did not do a complete job and his employee Scott wrote a receipt using ABC's name. The owner of ABC wasn't happy about that but did not want to pursue the matter. Refilled a complaint with the BBB against Wilson since it actually was Wilson doing a lousy job using ABC's name. Wilson ignored several attempts by the BBB to contact him and so they closed the case. Not helpful. Wilson should not have led us to believe he was ABC and should not have written a receipt using another business' name. They also should have done a full day's work and taken 2 truck and 2 trailer loads as promised instead of 2hrs and 1 truck/trailer but still demanding $650 cash. Jeff didn't bring up that he only would take cash until right before the job was to be done. We were on a time crunch and needed the job done.
