Now, I'm a landlord and deal with tradesman and contractors frequently. I always ask for an hourly rate for labor, because if they tell you that "we quote you a job price and we charge a diagnostic fee" you have no idea how long that job will take, and it almost always benefits the contractor greatly, and you pay them whether you hire them or not. Instead of $120 per hour, it ends up being twice that much. To make a long story short, they never returned my call to answer my questions, so I hired a company that did return my calls. It was nothing more than a big waste of time for me, which, apparently, they couldn't care less.

There was no time to waste in getting this repair done. When given the quote which was on the spot, I really did not have time to shop around. However, I did ask questions as to how that number was generated and the answer was very vague. Come to find out afterwards, that I definitely paid well above what a reasonable going rate was according to other licensed and insured plumbers because I wanted to check if things really had gotten that expensive, but it turns out that this company was just overcharging in my opinion. I reached out to ask the owner, not just the son who showed up, to again account for how those numbers in the price were calculated. Blew me off for weeks. I finally told him that it was very shady that he could not explain in detail why I was charged so much. When he finally did lay it out there, I let him know that I felt taken advantage of and felt ripped off.

They flooded my ceiling. That I just had fixed. And they were very expensive, so do not use drain snake drain company. I had no choice because of my complex. And I knew they were gonna blame it on me. Because they both worked together, they both scams. The drain company and the manned Heritage Hills management. First of all, there's no inside drain that costs $433 to clock to unclog. It was an outside drain. But they're so unreliable in such liars and scam artists that they blame everything on the homeowners. So don't use theirs use b and j's because they talked to me that night. And they told me that it was an outside pipe that if they came on a saturday, they would have to charge me extra money, so they were nice enough to be honest and they came back monday. But it was all done.So if they would have came back monday earlier, I would have had it done for half the price.Probably snake drain company is a ripo. That's because they deal with management.Heritage hills management, because they're a total rip off too. What we do is assessments, and have to pay increases. All the time and get nothing done. And when we be a one man said they start a project and they leave it, and then they start another one, it's true. They do have to paint us falling off half the houses and half the paint on some of the houses are different color green

The other company wanted to charge me over $2200 to replace my expansion tank, pressure relief valve, and purge my gas boiler. I was dumbfounded. I visited Coles and explained to the nice young lady at the desk what I needed done and about the other plumber. She told me yes, they were cheaper, and the following day, she sent me a quote. My jaw dropped on how much cheaper Coles was charging. Chris came over. He was very professional and knowledgeable. He explained everything that he was going to do before doing anything to the boiler. If he ran into a hiccup, he would inform me before doing anything. I really appreciated that. He considered me and not do whatever without discussing it with me. Chris replaced several valves, replaced the expansion tank, cleaned the boiler, replaced a thermostat, and purged the boiler and the cost was much less than half of what the other company wanted to charge me. Coles was honest, reasonable, professional, courteous. If only more businesses were like that. May God bless abundantly the Coles business, their families, everyone who works for them.
