This is not recent, but my review keeps getting removed on google so i will post it here instead. I…read morewent in for suspected rupturing appendix, and I have a family history of appendicitis. Was told by a male nurse that he would not be ordering any tests, a ct scan, or giving me any fluids/pain meds because he wants me to "be fertile for my future husband" and that he thinks a ct scan would affect my sex life and render me unable to bare children. He "thinks", aka his political opinion, which has no place in the medical field. He discharged me without any tests and I was sent home in severe pain. I went back the next day, pain even worse, and was told by my female nurse that the male nurse was out of line and should not have made such a sexually charged comment towards me. I got my tests and thank god it was not my appendix, but a severe stomach ulcer which still needed immediate treatment. If it was my appendix? His sexual, misogynistic views would have gotten me killed. The female nurse offered to help me file a report against him, but he never told me his name which im sure was intentional. St. Mary's has failed me, my family, and my friends on multiple occasions, too many to fit into a review. How many women have to be treated like trash before things change? DO NOT go here unless you want to be the victim of medical discrimination, sexual harassment, and neglect.
