I cannot say enough about what Dr. Snavely has done for me. He has saved my life twice…read more The first time was in August 2018, when he arranged and performed a four-way bypass (CABG). He took the time to explain everything in detail and showed me exactly why the surgery needed to be done immediately. I followed his guidance, had the surgery, and everything went very well. Things remained stable until May 2025, when I called 911 for severe chest pain. On the way to St. Mary's, I knew something was very wrong based on what the EMTs were saying. When we arrived, a full team of nurses--and Dr. Snavely--were already waiting, thank God. I was in intense chest pain and having difficulty lying still. That's when they told me I needed to remain still so they could perform an EKG, because I was having a major heart attack. Dr. Snavely immediately placed a stent and opened the blocked artery, and everything turned out okay. St. Mary's absolutely made the right decision bringing him onto their team.
