He took the time to explain everything in detail and showed me exactly why the surgery needed to be done immediately. I followed his guidance, had the surgery, and everything went very well. Things remained stable until May 2025, when I called 911 for severe chest pain. On the way to St. Mary's, I knew something was very wrong based on what the EMTs were saying. When we arrived, a full team of nurses--and Dr. Snavely--were already waiting, thank God. I was in intense chest pain and having difficulty lying still. That's when they told me I needed to remain still so they could perform an EKG, because I was having a major heart attack. Dr. Snavely immediately placed a stent and opened the blocked artery, and everything turned out okay. St. Mary's absolutely made the right decision bringing him onto their team. The entire cardiology department at St. Mary's is outstanding. Thank you, Dr. Snavely.
