For the office in Binghamton, Ny if you can have the time to let me express in this review, I am writing this after not being in any daily pain any longer. In which I had bacterial infections starting to break out in my mouth from a tooth in which severally needed a root canal operated on. My life had found me in a situation where a previous dentist had tapped onto a tooth and created a crack in one of my molar teeth. This was the beginning of a process of pain that would enter my life for over several years. Trying to find any help from insurance at all was a nightmare. My original dentist refused to fix this issue. And with pain in which was increasing in my mouth, the pain went from intolerable to a level where I was having to see my local doctor and also the E.R. far often than I wanted. I wanted a solution to this very badly and insurance was making it a nightmare in my life. I had been provided a recomendation to this dentist of Wilson in Binghamton NY. This was after so, so many times of being put on hold and never returned a call to and being led on missions to non-help by new york state. But finally, I had a place to actually see if any help could be done for me. By the time I had an appointment here, I did get approved for the procedures of a root canal to be performed. I found that the office secretaries were needlessly rude when I had walked into this dentist office. A worker had called a co-worker passing him by down the hallway a d**chebag. He was probably being lighthearted or didn't like his co-worker at all, I'm not one to know their rapport, but it felt really low class and uneeded to hear as a patient. The place was really cluttered in there and it seemed like they tried to rush as many people through as possible without much thought for care or anything. I was gone ahead to be approved for a root canal procedure. And the woman at the front desk had provided an order for pain medicine for my infected tooth, which looking back, was a pain I dont want to have in my life ever again. I needed pain medicine really badly for until I could have the root canal done. She said she sent the order in to my local pharmacy but this was not the case at all. I was scheduled about a month out to have the root canal done. I pushed through each day and did have to go to the E.R. again and also meet my primary care doctor to have pain medicine and anti-infection medications to take to hold me through. Waiting and pushing through to the time of having the appointment with them, I drove ahead of time that day to make sure i was on time for the appointment. Minutes ahead of their office even opening and as I was a several hour drive having arrived to there, a cell phone call from the secretary had called my phone. She was calling for Wilson Dental and it was the front desk secretary. She had cancelled the appointment for that root canal that I urgently needed done. It was not just that she cancelled the appointment but she was extremely unimaginably rude. Like levels of rudeness that it felt like she was trying to be nasty and a real b***h on purpose. I had found this site and read other reviews of similar experiences. I had also seen very much so that they overbook and that they cancel excessively. I tried to hold in my doubts and to persist to have a reschedule done because I needed this done really badly, to have this infection and pain go away. I wanted to keep my tooth very badly. Because I take care of my own teeth rather well and was proud of that, but bummed out and unfortunate with having that dentist of the past crack and damage that tooth. Yet another appointment after near a month had come up via that reschedule. And I had been cancelled by Wilson dental again. After reading many of the reviews on here, and the ones on Google Review which are real (many of these dentist offices will pay bots to write good reviews, if you are able to notice this. Because some of the cases and situations of real customers saying their experience warns people to stay away!) But after reading some of what happened to people who DID have appointments kept and people at Wilson Dental laying their hands on people, I feel it is possible I would by far regret and be in even worse off pain, if that is possible to have felt. After too much pain and fighting endlessly with insurance to help me somehow stop having this ongoing, because it was effecting my living and standard of life in a pain I began to hate and feel was horrible, I finally had just gotten up to a university of Rochester and just plain had the tooth pulled from my mouth. I really think that Wilson Dental is corrupt. The unprofessionalism from the secretary staff there, to what feels like something that is illegal for how often that they cancel peoples appointments right when you feel hope, makes me severely discourage people from ever going there. read more

I had a root canal done by Dr. Sammy 11/2024. He is the worst dentist. He doesn't numb you when he injects you it's so very painful. I have anxiety from him because he is so rude and shows no compassion. He told me to sit still I'm messing up his work. I was trying to tell him I could feel all the drilling. He got mad because he has to give me an extra shot. He places his tools on my chest which is very uncomfortable and unprofessional. During the root canal he kept dropping pieces in the back of my throat while I'm trying not to choke. At this point, I'm afraid to tell him.. He doesn't explain what he is doing and then gets mad at you if you move the wrong way or you don't understand what's going on. my children also have seen this dentist and my 10 year old was in tears because he poked her gums and he told her to hush up and stop being a baby that didn't hurt. Im really not sure how this dentist still has his license. He is allowed to treat people like this! The staff sees it and they need to report it! He is very unprofessiona! takes too many patients and doesn't do quality work. I would let my teeth rot out rather than to have him as a dentist. Don't go. I wouldn't take a pet rat to this place if I had one. Very unprofessional, no privacy and extremely dirty place. I was in a lot of pain due to a wisdom tooth. My appointment was consistently changed by wilson dental office. 1st appt was March 12th. Then, March 20th. Thought I was going to be seen for an abstraction. No, they attempted to do a cleaning instead, knowing I was in pain. Couldn't finish that. I was then giving another appt for May 6th for the abstraction of the wisdom tooth. Only for it to again be rescheduled to May 8th for a consultation, not the abstraction. Just to talk. All this time still in pain. Seems like they just want to milk the insurance company. The woman working the front desk, Rose, was beyond rude! She tried to belittle me in front of other patients, all while having what looked like the glob of roasted red peppers straight out of the hummus package on her teeth. I wanted to lean in so she would quiet down but was afraid that I would've left with garlic chunks on my shirt. She proceeded to be loud enough that other patient could hear my business which made me very uncomfortable. Dr. Sammy? I had to spit out the wad of nicotine that came off of his gloves in the parking lot as he proceeded to smoke another cigarette and wave goodbye. This by far is the worst Dennis office in New York State the office workers are rude, sarcastic, and have little experience in dealing with patients. Abby Cindy and Rose should go by the names of curly Larry and Moe. They have no clue. I went in with a toothache and was told I had an abscess. They told me that my insurance did not cover root canals, so my insurance company called them and let them know that they will certainly do cover root canals. One of the three stooges was on the phone and argued with my insurance company , trying to tell my insurance that they don't cover it however Wilson dental told me that I had to get a full mouth exam in order to get prior authorization. I did the exam and they never sent in for authorization. They also did a cleaning supposedly three weeks later, I went to another dentistdid a full mouth exam and x-rays and told me my teeth were never cleaned that I need another one. The ladies at the front desk seemed nice but the rest just looks ghetto. The dr told my 15 year old daughter that the over crowding in her mouth was due to her lips. Not even sure how that's even possible. I had an appointment also but after hearing a patient screaming it was a nope for me. And they must not have realized I too had an appointment as they didn't acknowledge it when I asked if we were good to go and asked if I wanted to schedule a 6month appointment for my daughter. I seen many reviews of how horrible these places are well sorry I have been to Waverly once & Binghamton 3 times & I'm usin the medical insurance you get with food stamps. I admit once when I called Binghamton one lady was bit rude but I think now I been there 3 times I can say probably cuz they were busy as crap & she didn't do it on purpose. I went to the Waverly one now I gotta say wasn't overly impressed but then again I don't like dentists at all. The room they put me in was to small, the tech gettin me ready kept catchin the hoses & cords, she also didn't take the best x-rays once I got to binghamton they had to retake mine. The dentist himself took basically one look in my mouth & said dentures lol. I knew this was comin but he did explain why & that I had to go to Binghamton to do the surgery. I went on first visit to Binghamton wary as I was goin for a consult for full teeth extraction, I'm gettin dentures. I was goin to wait as I know ppl tend to only leave reviews when pizzy or somehow their experience wasn't great. I wanted to see how mine went. I walked in to a busy office & the lady at front desk when I walked in was like "first time" and was so helpful showin me how to sign in & all that stuff. When I went back yes there is lot of chairs & ppl back there, lil creepy to kinda see. But again I was waitin to see how I was treated. But I even overheard while sittin there waitin in chair, "whelp no lunches today we gotta catch up" from one the staff. But I was never treated rudely by the tech who spoke to me. When I specifically asked her what I can eat she even wrote down things so I can grocery shop. She even took in consideration I am diabetic for makin my next appt as I couldn't eat for several hours before hand & who knows how many after lol. Only reason I had to wait a bit for my next appt. 2nd time I went in I was gettin my surgery done, my son was there, this same lady helped me sign in again & answered my sons questions though obviously she was bit busy. I was called back little late, but when I went back I was amazed, I had 4 ppl in my lil room movin around like clockwork, jokin with me & each other answerin my questions while waitin for the dentist. I was done much faster than I remotely expected, the girl walkin me out HELD MY HAND to make sure I kept my balance. Again answered all my sons questions & my goofy ones without seemin to act like she should rush back to next patient. I even got 4 scripts, major pain med, somethin lil lighter, my antibiotics & mouth wash. This doc did such an amazin job my swellin was already goin down next day & I was able to drop to the lighter pain meds same time. I followed their directions which NONE are given lightly like no straws & such. They do have their reasons. IDK if I was just lucky or what but most my workmates didn't even notice my teeth were gone, I was talkin normal & only slight change to face. My last appt I had concerns I felt these pieces stickin out in my jaw. I honestly thought maybe they missed a piece or 2 & asked him that. He totally reassured me it was my jaw not quite back in place yet. I was still concerned so he even had the tech show me my x-ray to show I had no splinters that were missed. He totally explained how my next appt will go, I may possibly have minor surgery again if these pieces do not go back on their own as this will cause issues in my dentures. A special note on my last 2 visits there were special needs ppl there, you could tell somethin wasn't quite right, the ladies there I watched handle them with such patience & even when one kept repeatin himself basically same question she'd answer him patiently each time even when his caregiver obviously got snippy with him. So I wanted to give Binghamton Kudos for bein so busy & havin ppl bein so patient with ppl like them One last thing there is very few reviews here, but yet these ppl handle dozens of ppl a day. I saw dr Craig at the Rochester location and personally that monster should be in jail, the pain I experienced is undescribable, I told her the novocaine did not take oh, she called me a liar and proceeded to rip out an infected tooth while I was screaming and crying oh, she did not care, they gave me no at home care instructions verbally or on paper, when I questioned dr. Craig she called me a liar again and said they always give the paperwork, if you check the cameras and walking out with no paperwork, I tried to explain to Calvin in the office manager about the pain and my experience he told me that dr. Craig told him I did fine, I'm not sure when crying and screaming is fine, he wanted me to come back Inn because I told him how swollen I was I told him I would only go if he was there, he said he would be there but when I got there he was not there so I told the lady at the door that I would wait in my car until he did get there, Dr Craig came outside giving us attitude she told me I can go back now or I could go back on Saturday I told her I will have to call and talk to the manager my husband was right there she got very loud and yelled at us and said no you will tell me right now if you're coming back on Saturday, I told her I would come back just to get out of there I walked away with tears in my eyes and we called the manager to cancel my appointment and asked if there was a different dentist I could see, he told me they could no longer see me dr. Craig ripped out 7 teeth and did two root canals when I told her I didn't want root canals to begin with I wanted a full bottom denture my one root canal tooth is loose and about to fall out oh, they are refusing to fix it, and now they are telling me even though they pulled out 7 of my bottom teeth they are refusing to make by permanent because their doctor lied to me yelled at me called me a liar and ripped my teeth out well I can feel everything and told me I was overreacting, I would never recommend anybody going there. I wouldn.t even give them one star the older Indian DR is the only dr he lost his practice in HHDS NY, so he bought the wilson franchise or started working for them because noone local would allow him to work with them because of his rep. He was yelling at me, he was yelling at employees right from the beginning. i thought maybe he was having a bad day but i over heard him talking about having a long island ice tea for lunch. i knew from HhDS that he could be quite abusive so I was ready for it. I never took it to heart let him yell the whole time never said a word he was rushin through the procedure as fast as he could. I kept telling him I needed to clear my throat literally seconds of his time. HeThat basically pissed him off more I knew then he was doing allbthis to scam and have me come bk a second time which he did. I came back he worked on me again fthis time and he wasnt as rude he literally with no warning got to a stopping point and packed his stuff telling me I had to go somewhere else to have it finished he didnt feel comfortable finishing. what kind of Dr starts a procedure and says they cant finish it with no warning I was literally giving him no trouble no oohing or awing nothing he gave no explanation or guidance he basically jus said screw you have a nice day then walked out his nurses were lookn at me like they had no idea what happened they jus said for liabilty purposes he couldnt finish. I recently had an appointment on March 23, 2022. A morning appointment that was made prior by a dental assistant. I didn't get a name? No name tag present? But the lady was at window #3. She was really disrespectful. treated me terrible in front of other patients. she basically said I didn't have an appointment and would have to come back at 5pm. Due to the system showing 5pm. I come from almost 2hours away. Thankfully I had my appointment cards on me!! I showed her and she was rude and Acted like I was lying?! Stating who did these? I replied a dental assistant last week! One of the worst experiences I have ever had with a doctor. The person that scheduled my appt was fantastic and thorough however the dr. Samy Abd-el-Messih Was unprofessional, rude and barbaric. I had to wait an hour in a half while he took some time to smoke a cigarette before getting to me than once he gets to me, it's like he was in a rush. He refused to answer my questions and was rough when pulling out my two teeth. Including banging my other teeth with his equipment while trying to pull the infected tooth. When I asked if he could be gentle, he stated I wasn't a man and couldn't deal with pain and that was the issue. Forget going back or recommending this place. I haven't been there in a few years. Stopped going to this butcher because he insisted I had a cavity so bad that I needed a root canal. I wasn't in any pain or discomfort to signal a possible cavity. And I was going to them regularly every 6 months for routine cleanings and not 1 of their staff mentioned any cavities. I came back for the filling and the guy was so rude and had no patience. I have a smaller mouth and of course he had to get to the very last upper molar. A part of me wonders if I really had anything going on or if he was just trying to make extra money that day. I just can't wrap my head around how a cavity that was apparently so big and bad caused me no pain and nobody caught it during the cleaning or prior cleanings. I don't trust the place so i no longer get dental care here. And it sucks because I have fidelis so now I have to pay out of pocket for a dental practice I can say I trust. read more

Have oral Surgeon, but not a maxillofacial that can not do wisdom teeth and refer you to someone ... the cleaning: if you have braces in the Waverly they are horrible. The doctors at Wilson Dental are the absolute WORST! I went to Wilson dental to have a tooth fixed/pulled and I was turned down because I did not want to see a particular doctor. The last time I went I saw a doctor by the name of Dr. Lancen. He was absolutely terrible! I expressed at the time that I was not comfortable in having a dental perceedure. Instead of addressimg my fears like a normal doctor would be decided it would be a good idea to scream in my face instead and told me I was "wasting his time" and "I shouldn't even be here if I wasn't going to listen to his advice". At this appointment I had scheduled recently the other doctors turned me down and refused to see me because I am a "waste of their time". Where to start , we'll I am extremely digusted by way they handle concerns of patient care. my husband had dental work done here and they made his teeth way worse then they where. They refused to finish dental work on top before starting on the bottom work. My husband dental work literally chipped and fell out .(tooth) He was in alot of discomfort and unable to eat anything .I made phone call about this and they just totally pushed it off not a concern. They extracted my tooth, and left roots behind. Now, I have constant, agonizing, metal-on-bone type of pain, and am forced to be on a liquid diet. I lost my insurance, and they don't accept cash unless you come in with at least $300 in cash up front. They will not correct their mistake for free. Wilson Dental is absolutely atrocious and the people who work there should be locked up in a flippin' mental hospital as far as I'm concerned. (Doctors and staff alike.) They have no basic courtesy or decency towards patients, lack professionalism and are wholly incompetent. Had to use them in a bind a few years back when I needed some emergency work done, and here's just the highlights of some of insanity I faced... -Endless waiting. I understand running a few minutes late, but every single time I went in, it was at least a 45 minute wait past my appointment time before I even got called back, then at least another 20 minutes before they got started. -Laughably inept staff. Twice I got scheduled for morning appointment times, and went in only to discover that they were closed and my appointments were scheduled for several hours before they even opened! I'm not joking. And the kicker? They tried to blame me and say I had it wrong, even though I always double and triple check appointment times. And to make it even worse, they did the exact same thing to someone else I know not long after I stopped going! The staff is also very rude, mouthy and I've heard horror stories about the clerks yelling and swearing at patients. Basically just disgusting behavior all around. -The doctors I saw all were completely unprofessional and could barely do simple tasks without messing up. Several times I didn't get numbed enough before procedures, or would tell them to stop because it hurt too badly only to have them keep working. They would also often refuse to do what you asked or endlessly push it back if they thought there was money on it. Had a broken tooth, and it took several months for them to pull it because each time I came in, they'd find something else to do, then try and spend a half-hour convincing me to pay several thousand dollars that I didn't have out of pocket to have the tooth fixed. Oh, and the one guy I kept getting saddled with barely spoke a word of English, which was fun... kinda hard to trust a guy who I'm pretty sure didn't understand 99% of what I said. -And the last straw... went in to get the extraction (finally!), and they started a root canal on me for another tooth WITHOUT ASKING ME OR TELLING ME! I was beyond livid. I didn't even end up getting the crown for it, because they promised me it would only take "a few weeks" to get approval from my insurance, but I didn't hear back from them for well over three months. I have been with Wilson for over 2 years. in the past I lived with constant tooth pain and issues they fixed me right up and was very polite and nice to me. my dentist is very cool and down to earth. I do agree that the wait time had gotten a bit out of hand but its not an issue for me cause the quality of care I received was great. I have no pain and a great smile now because of them. And just fyi I am a Medicaid insurance holder, my insurance had no negative impact on my treatment by staff and Dr's. my main dentist is dr Lancen. He is very nice and when he sees me there waiting on my girl he always come out and says hi and asks how am I. it may just be the dr's they have seen and that is y they all are complaining if you deside to still use Wilson ask for dr lancen he is the best!!!! read more

I wish I could give Wilson's Dental -10 stars. I am new to Binghamton and found Wilson Dental via Google. Everything seemed great. The person who answered the phone sounded smart enough and took my insurance and made an emergency appointment for me seeing as I have A CRACKED WISDOM TOOTH. He said that he didn't "recognize" my insurance number, but "not to worry, he had been HAVING THIS PROBLEM ALL DAY." I was silly enough to believe this and was relieved to finally be out of dental pain. The day of my appointment, at 8:30am, I got a voicemail stating that Wilson Dental made a mistake and they don't accept my STATE WIDE INSURANCE. Thanks, Wilson Dental for really making a massive pain in the tooth also a pain in the a##. Do not trust anyone who answers the phone at this place. Thier IQ is likely under 80. read more

Really not even worth one star. Do not go there. RUN! I am speaking of the Binghamton location. On May 5th I went there because I had tooth pain in one of my back molars. They did x-rays and told me I needed a root canal, gave me a prescription for Amoxicillin and Ibuprofen while we waited to see if my insurance would approve the root canal. Then they scheduled me for another appointment on May 17th for two other teeth that needed fillings. On May 13th they called and said they could take me in earlier on May 14th so I said yes because by then I knew my insurance has denied the root canal and I wanted to discuss options. They said they would discuss them then. On May 14th they called and cancelled my appointment and told me I'd have to call back to reschedule. I did and now I had to wait until May 25th. Meanwhile my tooth had been in pain all this time. On May 25th they did the fillings but without discussing any options with me they decided to do a filling in the tooth that needed the root canal. I thought that was strange but I'm not a dentist so I didn't know what to think. On June 4th that evening my tooth exploded with intense pain. Being that it was now the weekend they were closed. I called the answering service about my emergent need but the lady I spoke with said the earliest they could get me in was Tuesday and they wouldn't pull it but take a look at it. I was livid and in so much pain. I ended up in the ER That Sunday hooked up to IV antibiotics, ant-inflammatory drugs, and pain meds. Blood tests and a CT because that side of my face swelled up like a balloon! The doctor said when they filled that tooth the infection underneath cooked and then the bacterial infection spread out to my soft tissues causing facial cellulitis! If I hadn't gone in it could have spread to my throat, brain...scary stuff! I was able to go to Lalor Dental that Monday where they pulled the tooth and that staff is amazing, compassionate, and actually cares. It still hurt so bad when the tooth was pulled because even after 7 shots of Novocaine the nerve under the tooth was hot and tender from the infection. Thanks for nothing, Wilson! All they do is treat and street and they don't even care about you at all. Run. Run far away! read more

I enjoy Wilson Dental a lot more compared to other dentist offices i've been to. Went for my cleaning the first time and the staff was pretty nice. It's pretty hectic in the building but I've never found myself waiting a long time. I had a few root canals done but Dr Yiu (I hope I spelled her name right) but she's the best. She works well and fast. No judgement whatsoever. Until today I went in and her assistant who usually helps her was with someone else next to us. (She multitasks. And does it very well.) But the assistant she had help her with me today, was the worst. He consistently complained about other workers, the new system for their computers, etc. He did this complaining with no hesitation not caring that I as a patient was sitting right there. His reasoning was "she's old enough it doesn't matter" to another coworker. Got my x-ray finished. Went back to the chair to have him banging into the side of me with himself in his chair while the Dr was drilling my tooth. Then as the Dr turns away, he gave himself the opportunity to poke and prod around in my mouth with the suction straw. Poked at my gums and was observing my teeth to make rude remarks. Meanwhile this is why I chose this office, because I heard they were nice and didn't judge. I get up to take my last x-ray and he rips off the plastic covering and makes a comment about how they can't order the right f****** colors. I'm not sure but I was completely disappointed in my visit today. Didn't know where else the info would be useful because the website doesn't have a lot of options to do some feedback. But I usually have good experiences here and everyone had been nice to me, until this flippant child came along. Another issue we encountered but I wasn't too worried about was I scheduled to have my wisdom teeth removed there and they wouldn't take me in because of my seizure disorder which is mostly controlled with medication. So they wanted to have us go all the way to Rochester, NY. Pretty far considering I live near Oneonta so in that case I went somewhere local and paid out of pocket. read more

Do not go here!!! They treat you like dirt!!! Was basically told last Friday (with a infected tooth) to leave and find a new dentist by a dentist at Wilson because i asked him too many questions about how to appeal my insurance claim for a root canal (on the tooth that is still hurting me so bad)!!! I have never met a ruder doctor or dentist in my life. I was very polite to him and he left me in a horrible way. My whole face is infected. Thank goodness for Tier Family Center on Riverside Dr. Binghamton who is getting me into their office on Thursday and my the walk in for an antibiotic and pain medicine until Thursday! Just because we have to use Medicaid does not mean we should be treated like 3rd class citizens. This same dentist also runs his Elmira office during the week also. Please do not put yourself through the pain and anxiety by going to this place!!! read more

Girlfriend had complete lower teeth removed from the oral surgeon there on staff. It was sat am, we were the only people in the place. She is returned to me in the waiting room post procedure, biting on bloody gauze the guy who hands her off to me, tells me 2 prememorized sentences and has me sign a release and im pointed out the door in 15 seconds. Not one word on how things went in the procedure, nothing. So im sitting in the car in the dentists parking lot with a girl literally holding insanely bloody gauze in her mouth and shes holding the denture that was supposed to be installed in the procedure in her hands. Not a word mentioned as to why this was not installed before i was ushered out the door. I was told by our dentist in the ithaca Wilson dental office (a 5 star rating office) that the installation of this denture immediately after the procedure was important in the healing process (the pressure helps with proper healing ). Confused i went back into the office to ask why the denture was not installed. The receptionist dissapears and then returns and tells me the denture is too large and does not fit. Since in was told the placement of the denture was important to healing, i had several questions as to how to proceed. So i asked to speak to the surgeon who did the work so i could understand the impact of healing without the denture in place that I was told was important to the healing process.. The receptionist then decided to give me unlicenced and incorrect medical advice and told me people got all thier teeth pulled without a dentiure to aid in healing all the time and had nothing to do with healing and for me not to worry. I told her that id like to speak to someone about what to do next. She then tells me i need to call another office to get my questions answered on Monday. I was flabberghasted, i said you mean i need to leave this office and call another office to get post procedure information that just happened 5 minutes ago? Can i please talk to the surgeon that is here in this building and just did the proceedure? I was told "No you cant, hes busy." Not "Oh ill see if he can speak to you", or "he will be available in an hour if you dont mind waiting" no nothing , i was told he was busy and could not be seen and she attempted to dismiss me. Furious i asked how the surgeon could be busy when he wasnt finished with his last patient yet (now mind you the waiting room was empty). Confused and with no answers i drove an hour from Binghampton to ithaca and without even calling drove directly to the Ithaca Wilson office. During the drive home my girlfriend tells me about how the nurse in the anesthesia room was busy talking about how drunk she got last night and how hung over she was this morning. I get to the ithaca Wilson office directly from Binghampton and my girlfriend is still bleeding heavily an hour later and sill had blood filled gauze in her mouth. The Ithaca dentist takes a look at the surgeons work and realizes that the surgeon didnt even use any sutures to stop bleeding in removing every single lower tooth and is the reason she is still freely bleeding an hour later.. My ithaca dentist was furious enough to immediatly call her boss on a Saturday to complain about the work. Needless to say, stay FAR away. read more

I'm new to the area and I went to Wilson because I cracked one of my front teeth, and a co-worker suggested it. It was the first place I could book that took my insurance. I went in for the routine x-ray and cleaning prior to the filling. When I went in for the filling, they gave me Novocaine and before I knew it they were filling cavities I was told nothing about! Then they scheduled me for another day to come back for more fillings! Without ever telling me what was being filled or if I even wanted them filled! I am a type 1 diabetic, and my sugars are not well controlled right now. It could be potentially dangerous for me to be worked on because my body is hypersensitive due to several months of uncontrolled sugar levels. When I expressed this to the dentist today he said I was wrong and that I could come back once I wasn't afraid anymore. He didn't apologize for the miscommunication, instead he blamed his staff for not telling me and went on to say how he's been doing this for over 10 years and went to school to study for this work, hence I was wrong. I explained I've had over 10 years of dental work done and I am not afraid of dental work, but he still blamed it on me being irrationally afraid of getting my teeth filled. I won't say they did everything wrong. The staff up front are very nice, and the assistants seemed nice. Over all the facility appears very clean. I won't be rescheduling with Wilson to get my other two cavities filled (which I only know that there are two more to be filled because I called over the phone to ask that they note down that I don't want the others filled and I needed my previous filling looked at.) read more

If I could give negative starts I would. Wait times are horrendous. Each time I've gone I have waited at least 45 minutes AFTER my appointment time. The day of my oral surgery I waited 2 hours past my appointment time. During surgery I was SUPPOSED to be sedated YET woke up at least 3 times DURING surgery. EVERY time I told them to knock me out they said they were almost done, and kept working. Pain medication after surgery was a joke. I had multiple teeth taken out some of which were previous root canals, and they prescribed me naproxen. DON'T go here!!!!! read more

i have been going to wilson dental since last year, i am a dental coward,. and i have to say the have made me feel great at every appt, i looked at some of the reviews and its not true, they really are a caring dental office...my only problem was my appt was 9.15 am today!! i am getting dentures so it should have been a quick trip in and out....now im not stupid, i realise they are very busy, and people have different procedures....but i was there by 9am....and everytime i asked i was next...well after 30 other people were next, i had to go, i had another appt!!i didnt get out of there until almost noon, and still no one called my name...they did say they where running behind, but every single person who came in after me was seen....and left.....my other appt was very important, but i should not have had to worry about it, also i am disabled and had to sit in those hard chairs in pain all that time....and i do like wilson dental and the people i have met have been awesome....but my procedure was gonna take maybe 5seconds to try the molds, so im hoping when i reschedule my appt i dont have to wait months....i dont agree with all the negative reviews because up to this point wilson dental has been awesome to me,,,i just dont think i have to sit for over 2 hrs!!! but for all the negative people, if your ins pays for someplace else...then go there!! i still think they are very good read more
