Only certified organic farm nearby! We signed up for our time slot on their Facebook page. We showed up at 9:00 and luckily it was still around 80 and there was shade around the area you pick. You grab a bucket and start picking! When you are done you call her and she meets you so that you can pay. Cash or check only. There were a few port-a-potty's on site. Everything felt super fresh, and the prices was pretty fair too. I picked up some homemade jam and a couple bundles of collards that was way fresher than what I usually find at the grocery store. The folks working there was friendly and seemed happy to answer questions. I do wish there were a few more shaded areas to sit and enjoy a snack or something, but over all it was a great experience. We had such an amazing time here for Halloween. There was so much for the children and adults to…read moreengage in. We first arrived and purchased tickets for each activity. It included things like hayrides, train rides, pumpkin picking, photos, and more. I also love that they have a lot of free play in addition to the paid activities. They children could run, play, feed the goat and pigs, ride bikes and scooters that were around they farm. They also had wagons for toddlers or your pumpkins or whatever you may need. We had a great time sitting out on the benches that are near the food truck. They have affordable carnival style food. We had hotdogs, slushes, cotton candy, and more. The kiddos and adults enjoyed everything. They also have a concession stand in the front where you purchase tickets that has chips, cookies, juices, water, etc. The staff is really attentive to everyone there. Its a balance of free play and supervised activities. Speaking of, the corn maze was another hit. They had number scarecrows that is good for the self-guided style of the farm (of course I made it a learning opportunity for the children). Overall, I would definitely return. I visited Menagerie Farm with my son on a school trip last month. My review below:…read more - Location: Pretty out there if you live in areas like Bartlett. It's all the way in Collierville so expect to get there in 45min - 1hr. It was also difficult to locate b/c it was a in a residential subdivision/neighborhood. I was luckily behind the school bus and was able to follow them; otherwise, I would have missed it 10x. - Price: Meh...it was like $15.00/kid & $5.00/chaperon through the school; however, when we got there they were also charging $2.00 for parking which was not disclosed (school's fault). Luckily, I had cash; otherwise, not sure what other options I would have had. - Farm: Really there wasn't much other than chickens running around, a few goats to feed, a lake with catfish to feed, and a tractor and train that drove you around for a few minutes. We really didn't get to see any other animals but from far. Overall - go to the Memphis Zoo :)

It's well organized and my daughter always has an absolute blast. It's well worth the 2 hours of driving a day to take her to and from during her camp week. Every complaint I've seen have seen about this facility has been in regards to the animals that reside there doing as they please. Please keep in mind that is their home. They live there. It's a FARM. Don't schedule your kids events at a farm if you're not willing to share space with the animals that live there. Isn't that the whole point in going there? It wouldn't be what it is if all of the animals were all locked in cages. I personally love going there and seeing all of these animals running around live their best life and being well loved by the owners.
