However, I just took down that review. Because things have changed dramatically (for the worst) here at BCAH over the last 2 years. Lately, my A/C hasn't been working properly. I stopped by the management office Friday, March 6th at 5pm to let them know that my A/C was not blowing out cool air & to ask them to send over a maintenance man to take a look at it. The leasing agent went into the manager's office where the manager, assistant manager & another leasing agent were chit chatting. The leasing agent told the manager the issue with my A/C, wasn't (blowing out cool air). The manager did something on her computer & the leasing agent came back to me & said that the maintenance man would come over. I clarified with her that he would come over this evening. She said he was working on something & he would come after he's done (mind you it was 5p, and the office closes at 5:30p). However, if there's an issue with an A/C or header maintenance is supposed to come fix it...........even if it is after hours. At 5p Friday I put in a request for maintenance to come check out the A/C. The time is now after 2a Saturday morning. He's NO SHOW & I'M NOT SURPRISED........ I've lived here for 2 years. Maintenance & management used to be awesome. Ally & Tyresha don't give a shit about residents. All they care about is getting the empty apartments leased. There are so many empty apartments here........So if you're looking for an apartment, (I would keep looking). Before I moved here I lived in the worst apartment complex ever. After living here at BCHA , this is the 2nd worst apartment complex I've lived at.

Overall a pretty good place to live. We got in with pretty good rent for their smallest unit…read more Pros: Great interiors, updated appliances, well cultivated landscaping. Minutes from DFW airport and a nice midway point between Fort Worth and Dallas. Maintenance is friendly and prompt. Walls seem to be thick enough to drown out all but the most obnoxious neighbors. Walking distance from TRE. Cons: Grocery stores are a bit of a trek. Area food options are fairly limited for a sit down meal. Required cable and valet trash service tacks on around $50-60 / month. Don't watch cable, but when I did the charter service was horrible -- cutting in and out on nearly every channel worth watching. Other notes: I found the duct work to be pretty horrible so our A/C was really inefficient, driving our electric bills up far beyond what we should have to pay for 800sqft. I actually reached turn off a light switch and felt cold air blowing out of the receptacle. That means cold air was circulating within the walls better than throughout the apartment. We had our bikes chained to the railing in the breezeway (3rd floor) and they were stolen. That's the risk you take, but for a gated community (whose gates have often been broken) I would have expected at least some tone of sympathy from the management. Instead, I got a pretty lazy excuse, "The contractors still haven't given us a quote." As a business owner, I can see both sides of that coin --they're not technically liable-- but it is difficult to see the gates stuck open so often and see emails about "Ice Cream Socials" and so on. I can buy my own ice cream, I can't buy a security gate. I want to know that my property manager is concerned about the same things I am. Overall, I was fairly happy with the 800sqft for $950 per month all said and done, but I feel like the rent had gone up significantly by the time we were thinking about renewing. Other areas worth considering within a 5 minute drive are Bear Creek area and some apts north of 183 on 360 in Euless.

I also saw a dog hop from someone's car and attack someone walking down the side walks. Lots of homeless people around the 711, smoke shops, storage places, etc. Lots of poop on the property and they had a drive by at the mailboxes INSIDE the complex a few years back. Also so close to the airport you can read the flight numbers on the planes. Terrible complex for the amount of money youre paying. Nevermind the pool parties that go well into the mornings.

Location, location, location: ten minutes from DFW -- freeway or back roads…read more Front office staff: awesome. Pool: incredible. I'm still using it in October (2022). Fitness Center: brand new; completely refurbished. Echelon-all-around. This is incredible. Even if not planning to rent here, you have just got to stop by and see the new center. And, best of all, during the winter, an indoor pool, off-site, less than a minute by car down the road. We have lived in apartments only for 50 years: this is the best apartment complex. Looks expensive; is not. Front office willing to work with you on everything.

Terribly managed - absolutely no support or available people. We had no AC for the month of August…read more- the hottest month, but full price rent was certainly expected. The walls are PAPER THIN, and the folks above us have absolutely NO CONTROL over their children, who begin running wild early in the morning, yelling and dropping who knows what at all hours of the day. I was told that "when you live in a "community," that is to be expected, esp. since they have "premium" wood floors. What??? Translates to: we will do nothing. That premium flooring? very old scratched dark wood-like substance that has missing planks and gaps to the floor! Our apartment was in bad repair and dirty at move-in. The gates are broken all the time, and people come in from the neighborhood to drop off loads to the dumpsters, keeping them full all the time. The ONLY thing is the area, but you will be frustrated 100% of the time, so decide if that is worth it. Not for us. We are getting texts or emails almost daily reminding us that we need to let them know now (3 months in advance!!!) whether we are renewing the lease. I can't post with 0 stars, but wish I could.

Living at Creekwood Apartments on Pioneer Road in Irving, TX, has been an absolute nightmare. I…read morelived there for three years, and the experience was completely unsatisfactory. For starters, there was hardly ever any hot water. Multiple complaints to management went unresolved, leaving me to deal with cold showers most of the time. The dishwasher in my unit never worked--not once in three years! Despite submitting maintenance requests, nothing was ever fixed. It's clear that management has no interest in addressing basic maintenance issues or providing a decent living experience for their tenants. On top of that, the property feels completely unsafe. Packages were frequently stolen, cars were broken into, and I even heard of motorcycles being stolen right off the property. The lack of security is alarming. If you're considering moving here, I strongly urge you to think twice. Between the lack of basic utilities, unresponsive management, and the constant feeling of insecurity, this place is not worth it. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere. Do yourself a huge favor and move to Las Colinas u will forever thank me. Entire different world on that side of town.

I found the reviews of this property did not note any of these issues. I've lived in the back in a studio, upfront on the second flr in a 2b2b and now first floor 1bd. I had the pleasure of starting my Palisades journey with the amazing Amber P (Ivan), the other young lady (Christian #1), Ms. Joni and Ms. Mekeda (Christian #2) who to me have been a breath of fresh air to our community. I've not had one issue come up and was brought to Mekeda's attention that was not resolved in the same day or soon thereafter. Christian is so awesome I've never had anything that he fixed need to be addressed for the same issue again. He's a hard worker and very respectful. They take the cleanliness of the complex, the safety and happiness of the tenants personal. For me the enforcement of the Trash policy is huge as there are those that still break the rules and wind up having their trash spread across the lawn by morning from the critters that otherwise wouldn't have access to it if it were put out at the designated time. We have a lot of dog lovers so I'm sure the dog park is appreciated. (I don't utilize it as I don't have a dog) I don't see me leaving anytime in the near future. I love my community, I have great neighbors and would recommend this community to anyone.

So reading the other bad reviews here I notice they are in 2016. I moved here APR2017, which…read moreappears the new management had just recently taken over. I will only say my review pertains only to building 7 where my unit was located. Common areas were clean, hallways sometimes dirty but not longer than a week. I could see if you have some nasty neighbors that leave leaking garbage bags on the hallway floor, then I see how a roach and pest issue can be a problem. But that is why tenants are instructed to place their garbage cans with bags INSIDE the can in the hallway for pick up; not leave leaking bags on the floor. If someone has excess garbage bags that do not fit in the garbage cans, the dumpster is a hop skip and a jump away. Looks like the management has a regular hallway washing schedule. I do have to say the walls are thin, you can hear the neighbors next door, and those walking upstairs if they have heels, and since I lived above a garage unit, I would hear that garage door very loud every time it was opened and closed. That is why I am taking away one star. Overall, nice place to live. Jeff and Emily were very attentive and quick to respond in person or via email. Although calling the office line you'll never get anyone to answer, so maybe management can work on that.

When I moved in, they kept hallway clean, the dog park clean, the pool clean, ect. Since then, they have stopped cleaning the complex, did an awful paint job, very seldomly do they clean the dog parks or trash out of the complex and even the management has left. I lived in 3 of the units there and the last one was the absolute worst. The first unit I lived in was fine, we had a very good experience during that time. The second unit I moved into had not been cleaned and there was a smell coming from the cabinets that never left no matter how much I scrubbed. One way I knew they did not clean was because there were dirty handprints all over the walls and the previous tenants laundry still in the dryer. The third unit I moved into was supposed to be one of their nicest ones. Move-in day they did not have the unit ready. We went to pick up our keys, had our truck packed and movers ready to help. Instead of our unit being ready, they had to scramble to clean the unit and change the carpets THAT DAY. We just sat around waiting for them to be done. When we moved in, all the baseboards had water damage and were never repaired only painted over. There was a massive wet spot on the ceiling of one of the units bathrooms that eventually became moldy and they only painted over it. The master bathroom had horrible ventilation and it grew mildew like crazy. And the worst problem was that our unit had roaches. Pest control had to come out almost every other month to set up traps and spray, and we even had the unit fumigated. That DID NOT help. To make it even worse, they are a mix of full size roaches and babies. I was hesitant to write a review because I did like previous management as well as the maintenance team however, upon move-out my fiance and I spent HOURS cleaning our unit. I have videos and pictures to prove the condition our unit was in when we moved out. The complex, or new management, is charging us to replace the carpets. That should be included for every new tenant, and I was under the impression it was because that is what we were told every time we switched units. That carpets would be changed. Regardless, like I said I do have pictures and videos to prove that our carpets were clean, no tears and no stains. This complex is extremely over-priced and you do not have any perks to show for it. They allow residents to throw massive pool parties where they throw food and chairs into the pool and turn the pool green. Then they never clean it so it stays unusable for weeks on end. They allow people to let their children use the gym equipment like a playground. Two of three treadmills, and the stair stepper have been broken and unusable for around 1 year and a half to 2 years now. And if you do not pay for parking you will most likely end up parking outside of the complex. It is supposed to be a gated complex, however the gate has been broken literally since I moved in 4 years ago. They will get someone to patch it up and it ends up breaking only a few days later. They make so much money off their tenants yet none of it will actually go back into the complex. Instead they continue to make cuts to the bare minimum things they do around the place to keep it "luxury." Whatever you do, DO NOT MOVE HERE.
