This happened once before at the Magdeburg location and seems like the entire Coffee Fellows chain is irresponsible with to whom they let open a franchise or run their stores. On the way to my train on Tuesday morning, I peeked into Coffee Fellows. Having been looked at oddly for asking for vegan sandwiches at the backer, I thought I'd try my luck elsewhere. I saw a vegan option - Avocado with Hummus. Sounded amazing! The server, who I later found out was the boss, was polite and made my order quickly even though no other customers were there. I asked for avocado on the side and he packed everything into a bag. I was so excited with such a great start to my morning. When I sat down in the cabin, I laid my bagel on the table and went to add the delicious, green avocados. To my dismay, I opened brown, more than overripe avocados. I tried to eat a few bites with the bagel, but they tasted like mushy garbage, and did not even resemble any sort of avocado taste. Then, I found a small hair! I was disgusted. Coming from California, land of Hass Avocados, we are avocado connoisseurs, but that doesn't mean we can't enjoy a nice green fruit of heaven somewhere else. I was very irritated, to say the least, so I went back and asked for a credit. I received my money back, but only after the girl behind the counter called her boss. She defended her boss by saying that avocados become ripe extremely fast, implying in minutes they turn overripe. The next morning (today), the boss was working. I politely asked the boss why he gave me brown avocados and showed him the picture. He immediately was on the defensive. He actually told me that the avocados did not look like that when he put them in the package and that they get ripe really easily. So, I asked - easily, as in 2 minutes easy? And he said I don't know. He started to walk away and I kept talking. He said I'm not having a discussion with you now and walked away so I couldn't speak with him. Is this somewhere you want to spend your money? I think not.

First thing first : it's no longer a restaurant it's now strictly a cafè - ONLY food is 3 different…read moresandwiches (beetroot, chicken or roast beef ) or a chicken pee salad. No they don't have boards of cheese or sausages or hot food - non zero nada. They are extremely friendly and a nice little delicacy shop, but the prices are clearly high due to placement 20€ for 2 sandwiches and 2x Limonade. The sandwiches was ok, but nothing fancy

Avoid this place. They have hardly invested in anything, and yet they charge more than the…read morerestaurants in the Rathaus square. The food is bland, the service can be rude (particularly when the young man is attending) and the price of the hot drinks higher than average. The toilet is dirty and the toilet seat is broken. They should be ashamed of themselves. I am amazed that some people liked this place.
