Awesome place for the money if your on a budget. Don't know what happened to the clubhouse like maybe short staffed and don't have a bartender. Every time try and go in and buy a soda and candy bar they're always closed. I always have a great experience here and like the adventure of seeing how the round turns out. Friendly people always working!

Great value for the price. The course is city-managed and generally clean, making it a good place for casual rounds and practice. Some holes cross each other which can be a bit risky, but it's manageable. One concern is safety on the course. There were homeless individuals inside the course area, especially near hole 16. One person shouted and swung a tree branch, which felt threatening, especially for female players. I tried to report it but couldn't reach the pro shop. Overall I still like this course a lot. With a little more attention to player safety and course conditions, it could be even better.

The facilities felt comfortable and well managed. The golf course itself had a slightly busy and somewhat unorganized atmosphere. It's not an overly difficult course, but my score wasn't great--especially because the greens were quite challenging. Reading them was tougher than expected. I heard that the original 36 holes were redesigned into 18 holes. One advantage is that it should be cooler and more comfortable during the summer. Thanks to the recent rain, the fairways and overall course conditions were decent and enjoyable. Overall, it's a pleasant course with friendly service, but be prepared for tricky greens.

Absolutely terrible experience with the GM at Milesquare Golf Course…read more I'm just a regular golfer who reached out to ask a few simple questions about how their group booking process works. The GM, Scott, responded with one of the rudest and most condescending messages I've ever received from a golf professional. Instead of answering basic questions or even being slightly polite, he acted like I was wasting his precious time and basically told me to go screw myself. The arrogance was actually shocking. If this is how the GM treats regular golfers just trying to understand how to book with his course, I can't imagine how poorly they treat their actual customers. Extremely disappointing. Definently the worst customer service experience I have ever received at any establishment. Will not be playing here and will be telling my golf group to avoid this place as well.

I was beyond awful, never kept score, only played for fun/frustration a couple times a year, etc. I found Lew on Yelp and, even though he was further from me than many other instructors, his reviews gave me a good feeling - I called and we started lessons immediately. I told him about my event coming up, my realistic goal of simply not embarrassing myself, but to treat me like a beginner who knew absolutely nothing - we began building a new swing from scratch. Lew didn't just teach me how to fix something, he taught me why it was happening and gave me a pedagogical understanding that has helped me to analyze and solve my own problems outside of our lessons. He is incredible at diagnosing problems, trying multiple methods to fix problems until one clicks for you, helping you think from a holistic perspective, and taking time to defuse things when you're mentally kicking your own ass. By the time my tournament came around, I sucked...but I sucked SO much less than I used to. And, most importantly, I didn't humiliate myself (and actually made the winning putt for my team on the 18th). The truth: it's not easy...it's frustrating as hell...there's no magic wand. However, everything is always done for a reason with the result in mind and, if you trust the process, you WILL see the results. Lew has made me love the process - and, to get better at anything, that's the most important aspect. A year later - I'm still happily taking lessons with Lew and my game is lightyears beyond where it was a year ago.

If you invite your clients to a private country club, it's your responsibility to explain everything in detail regarding club dress code. It has to be a written explanation point by point describing what is allowed and what isn't. I'm not a member of that club, so I had no clue about their strict policy of not wearing sport shorts. Just canceling someone's lesson due to miscommunication on your part is lame and shows your ignorance and lack of respect for your clients.

The course itself is beautifully maintained, with pristine fairways and fast, true greens that made every hole fun and challenging. The layout is well thought out, offering a great mix of risk-and-reward shots that keep the round interesting for golfers of all skill levels. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making check-in quick and easy. The pace of play was perfect, and the overall atmosphere was relaxed but still professional. I also loved the practice facilities and the clubhouse--great place to grab a bite and unwind after the round. Whether you're a serious golfer or just out to enjoy a day on the course, this place delivers a fantastic experience. I'll definitely be coming back and recommending it to friends! Not my favorite, but completely acceptable. Then came the surprise... the rubber tee that fits through the mat isn't included. You have to buy one separately. Fine. I walked back to the pro shop ready to buy one... except they were completely out of stock. So the one club I came to practice never left the bag. That's a pretty frustrating miss for a driving range. As for the range itself, it's about 80% dirt and 20% dead grass, so don't expect a lush practice facility. The good news is you can absolutely let it rip with your driver, assuming you have one of the elusive rubber tees. I did appreciate that they have multiple target flags scattered throughout the range. However, there are no yardage markers, so it's hard to know how far you're actually hitting the ball. I'm not a golf snob and don't expect country club conditions, but I do expect a driving range to have the basic equipment available to let customers practice every club in their bag. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. I left more annoyed than improved.

During a big golf trip two years ago, I developed a major shank in my irons and had lost all confidence in my game. I was back to three digit scores and would celebrate if I broke 100. I took a break and finally decided to seriously consider lessons. I found Laurent through TPI (Titleist Performance Institute) as he was one of the highest rated teachers in the area. I went in for an assessment and in that session alone he was able to address some things that had me go from shank to baby draws at the end. I signed up for a lesson package that consisted of 5x two hour lessons. In my first and only lesson, we focused on iron shots and permanently removing the shank. He tried many different approaches to get me to address my problem and we used the entire two hours to find the right fix. After the lesson, he texted me a practice plan with a breakdown of the drills I needed to do every day. His follow-up and willingness to put in the extra effort in communication outside of the lesson shows he cares and see this as a team effort. He holds you accountable for the effort and discipline needed to succeed. This is where the value of his coaching style stands out, you get way more than you pay for. Rather than go back in for a second lesson, I focused on the drills and implementing what we worked on in my game. I did this all summer on a regular basis. I'm now consistently shooting in the 80's and my playing buddies have noticed the difference. This with just one iron lesson. I'm now anxious to go back and work on some of my iron misses and start working on woods. On top of all the great coaching, he also shows a lot of interest in me personally and has helped me connect with other folks in his network. I feel fortunate to have found him and to be a part of Team Laurent!

I had assumed that would be a personalized plan on how we would improve my game. But it was just a list of his rates for different ranges of people. I'm sure the same thing he sends to everyone. If that was all he was going to send, why not just give me that info before the assessment? Also, I understand this is an assessment and not a lesson but I think the assessment is not only for him to assess me but for me to gauge how I like his teaching style. Alas, I didn't get any comment on my swing or what he would be trying to improve. So I asked him over text what his plan for me was but he ignored the question and just responded with something about not competing with youtube or range "pros". edit(Response to his comment): Nothing I said is incorrect. You are right you sent me your rates on Sept 24th 2022 at 12:54pm. That is AFTER the assessment @9am on the same day. I've attached our texts as proof. Perhaps instead of name calling, you could appreciate that my experience was not great and try to improve....
