I cannot begin to tell you how much I enjoyed my experience with Dr. Aloor, but let me try…read more.. I have (had) a crippling fear of the dentist. Before my first visit to Woodgrove Family Dentist I was so nervous I couldn't eat all day, I almost cried when I made the appointment, I contemplated the possibility of living with a broken tooth instead of going to the dentist. Have you even seen Little Shop of Horrors? Steve Martin portrayed my idea of a dentist perfectly. From my first visit with Dr Aloor my nerves were put at ease. She took the time to discuss my fears with me. She patiently let me ask her a bazillion questions. We came up with a game plan for if I was beginning to become uncomfortable. Guys, she gently sings when she is working on your mouth. I cannot even describe how calming this was. There I am thinking things are going wrong (because that's how my brain works) and she is just humming along. It totally put my mind at ease. I also loved that I could watch Netflix while they worked on me. I chose The Office, and I was actually laughing at times. Let's talk about the Novocain. In my opinion this is one of the worst parts of the dentist. She numbed me up so well before the needle came out, I didnt even feel the first pokes. The dental assistant was WONDERFUL. She was so friendly and knowledgable, she really helped me feel comfortable. I actually think I am over my fear of the dentist after just 2 visits with this wonderful office. I couldn't feel more relieved to know how well I have been, and how well I will be taken care of in the future.

Can not recommend them enough!! I had a dentist ready to drill two cavities my son had. One is so…read moretiny that Dr. Gaur said it wasn't worth drilling and the other she said she would keep an eye on. She explained that you treat a wound and not a scratch. She said that my son's cavities were scratches --they're on his baby molars too. Thank God for an honest dentist! Listen to your gut and if you have a bad feeling about your kid's dentist, come here! She has always been straightforward, kind and tells me what she would do for her own child if he were in the same situation. When I wasn't keen on using fluoride on my son's teeth, she didn't shame me, she shared her brother did the same with his kids. I wish I could be her patient. I will continue to drive three towns away for her!!

What a relief to find a caring and honest pediatric dentist! I recently brought my sons (age 8 and…read moreage 10) to see Dr. Kaur, and I'm really happy we switched to this practice. Our previous pediatric dentist was too aggressive for my liking, charging us nearly a thousand dollars for 2 fillings ON BABY TEETH. Dr. Kaur takes a much more conservative (and modern) approach: one son has 2 microcavities that she recommended treating with silver diamine fluoride instead of fillings; the other has a new cavity on a baby tooth that she'd prefer to just monitor until he loses it. The office is very welcoming and the hygienist was so nice to my younger son, who was a little bit scared at first. I wish it wasn't only a pediatric practice - I'd make an appointment for myself, if I could!
