The facilities are spacious, clean well ventilated. There are several tacking areas with cross ties and an indoor wash rack. The indoor arena is large and usually empty. There is also a lot of outdoor space to ride (I joined recently in bad wether so I have not experienced these spaces myself.) The tack lockers are plenty big for 2 saddle plus other supplies. The pastures are spacious and the horses are grouped compatibly. They feed really great grain too! The best part about the barn is that everyone is really nice and I feel confident that my horse is in good hands when I go home every day.

Kay and Emily run a fantastic farm and they genuinely care about the well-being of their horses! Both of these women have a passion and drive to continually learn everything they can about the horse world. Anything from how to better the health of their horses to new dressage techniques. They also have experience in multiple disciplines of riding. One thing to note that many barns cannot say is that this farm is drama-FREE. Meadowlark has a laid-back and welcoming community. It is perfect for everyone of all ages and disciplines. Additionally, Meadowlark has a fantastic Horse Camp that's extremely popular - the spots fill up super fast! I have been riding with Emily for over 2 years now and it's amazing! She caters her teaching style to how her students learn best and has no problem answering questions. The pastures, which were never big, have been chopped down smaller. For anything extra they charge, not unfair. But , the owners are so greedy and cheap, they do not pay any of the extra to the barn help!! The place looks nice, and the barn part is ok, it's the rest they fell down on. As for caring? Hah! Ask the boarder/worker who let them borrow her horse for a camping trip to IL or WI, a few years ago. They came home, but the horse died on the trip. She talked to them while they were gone, and they always sounded drunk! They disavowed any responsibility and did not want to pay any of the vet expenses. The poor owner, a super nice, hard working college kid, was devastated. I have rarely heard of such callous unconcern and lack of accountability!! If you venture your horse at this barn, watch your, and your horse's, backs. Michelle and Trista will not. All they want is your money and to drink.
