CALLING ALL LOCALS! WILLOW MARSH IS IN TROUBLE! I went to Willow Marsh recently, and the owner told me that because of a recent incident with their cows, they lost their entire herd of milking cows! This is an incredible tragedy as there was no milk or yogurt or even beef in Willow Marsh when I went. They are creating a petition for their local bank to apply for a loan to buy back their dairy cows. But they need support from the community to convince the bank that they are a good investment. If you read this, please go into Willow Marsh and lend them your support. They have a milk subscription that they are trying to sell, so the bank knows that this is a vital service to our community. Please please help as local farms are becoming more and more rare. This one is owned by a local family and they work super hard to bring these local products to us. read more

I absolutely love these people who sell raw milk, the cheapest form of medicine one can get for optimal gut health. If you've never drank raw milk, I urge you to do some research and then go there and give it a try. It will reverse many of the diseases that come with drinking pasteurized milk. read more

I've been buying their yogurt at the farmers market for years, but never been in the store. It's probably the best Greek yogurt I've ever had - thick, tangy, and not too sweet. I won this huge steak as part of their grand reopening and shopped around while I was there. Besides stocking up on yogurt, I bought some deliciously fresh (and squeaky) cheese curds. I think everything they sell is either made on the farm or local. The steak was delicious, and I'm looking forward to shopping there again. read more

Great little farm store... they make some amazing yogurts from their dairy cows in several flavors, I really like the drinkable yogurt for breakfast. My family and I have been stopping by this store and farm for the past 4 years on our way back to lower Westchester. every year we walk to see the cows and buy many things in the store. This year we were aggressively approach by a woman and scolded for "trespassing". we walked about 50 yards past the shop and back towards the car for 6 minutes. We profusely apologized as she continued to tell us how wrong we were. She carried on for 2-3 minutes and we said she should put signs, we had no bad intent. Just a little ways away is a gorgeous farm called Meisners heritage farm. highly suggest this place. Everyone was so kind. read more

Moving to this area caused some serious concerns. Luckily my supply of raw milk will not be one of them. I was ready to pay more but they are managing to keep prices low. We also tried several cheese varieties. We found the Calico cheddar to be more like a pepper Swiss. As one of the weirdos who reacts strangely to certain proteins (esp. Tree nuts, shellfish, some kiwis, etc.) Swiss cheese tends to instigate a mild version of the same reaction due to the necessary enzyme/proteins created. So yeah, not what I expected... Next time the yogurt, for sure. read more

Completely turned off by their customer service. Warning: do not bring any dogs with you if were to come. Obviously;you do not let your dog out at the farm; but they let their dogs run around and if they see an animal in your car, they will jump and gouge your car. On a previous visit, the owner asked us to let our dog out so she could say hi to him, which would allow us to believe dogs were welcome there. Not the case, she was unbelievably rude when we told her, then she called my wife stupid for bringing the dog with her. How nice of her! We tried multiple times to have a conversation with her, but didn't get anywhere. read more

This is a local dairy that sells exclusively locally sourced products as well as their farm fresh dairy and meat products. I convinced my wife to stop by when I heard they sold raw milk - an important ingredient in making your own fresh mozzarella [pasteurized is a nightmare - don't bother trying]. We decided to pick up some milk, farm made yogurt, farm made ice cream, farm raised kobe/angus beef, and some locally sourced maple sugar candies. The milk is obviously fantastic. The ice cream was really great. My wife offered me a spoonful and destroyed the rest of the pint on her own! The yogurt, though? AMAZING!!! I have literally never had yogurt more delicious in my entire life. Completely incredible. I thought about not posting this to yelp and keeping this farm my little secret so they will always have the stuff I want and never raise their prices. On the flip side, I want them to succeed so I can keep going and getting this great stuff! I'll update this after dinner but now have little doubt the beef will be equally delicious! read more

We stopped by this afternoon to pick up some raw milk and inquire about the progess of their creamery. While there, we asked about what type feed they provide their cows, since we were looking for cows fed just grass with no GMO grains. The two employees working at the counter were like deer in the headlights and oblivious to my questions (like this has never come up before ??) and were coy with their answers. Just then, the owner walked in and the employees directed me to her. I asked her the same questions, but she appeared annoyed with me (what a great way to build your business and generate good will with customers). Finally, she stated the cows were grass fed and grain finished. (I don't understand how a lactating dairy cow can be grain finished unless thay were going to slaughter her). In any event, she was rude, and more interested in yelling at her employees about some product display matter, with us standing there. Regrettably, this was not the first time we encountered bad behavior towards customers. Suffice it to say, we will not be patronizing this business in the future and encourage others to look elsewhere. read more
