However, I am going to have to find a different shop. I was there last Saturday and spent $126. I needed one item wrapped and because that item was less than $30 (it was a frame and it cost $21) - they charged me $3 to wrap it. Ridiculous. They can clearly see how much money I spend in there because they ask for phone number & look you up every time. It's very disappointing. I make a point of shopping local to support our community. There wasn't too many additions to Franklin Street since I was last here but Mildred and Mable was unfamiliar so I walked in. I've been in shops like this before and I figured I would just browse and be done with it. I wandered around and I did end up finding some things to buy and then meandered my way to the counter. While I was being rung up I asked what time the store closes and was told 6. I checked my watch and it was 6:15. I walked in at closing time, wasn't told they were closing and was still allowed to browse. I immediately apologized for coming in when it was closed and just as quickly was told it was fine; stuff like that goes a long way with me.
