Outstanding food, fun atmosphere, and amazing service!…read more We had the absolute best experience at Irene's! We were treated to a wonderful evening out--the cocktails and food were top-notch, and our server provided fantastic service throughout the night. The golf simulator was a super fun touch! While the outdoor concert was unfortunately rained out, it just gives us a great excuse to come back. We even ended our trip with their fantastic Sunday brunch this morning. You can really tell how much care goes into running this place. Highly recommend Irene's to anyone looking for incredible food, great drinks, and a fun vibe!

Had dinner here recently after high expectations and a recommendation. Service was accommodating as we requested a booth and they cleaned one up for us (not sure why it wasn't already clean but whatever). Our server was pleasant and friendly, eager to assist and serve. We initially had a lot of hope from the menu as a lot of the dishes seemed like they would be very good and therefore difficult to choose from. Ended up starting with the poke nachos, beef topped pierogis and sweet rolls. The poke nachos had little to no tuna and was just stringy lettuce and sauced chips. Pierogis were nothing more than heated Mrs. T's frozen pierogies with a little topping of flavorless shredded beef and some sour cream. Absolutely no flavor. The sweet rolls were simple/ fine. Just no Texas Roadhouse rolls. Apps get a D at best. Wouldn't order again. For mains had the Beale street chicken. A blackened double chicken breast with mashed potatoes and some kind of kale salad and some type of spicy sauce. Overall nothing great. Chicken was overly seasoned and way too much Sante fe sauce. Had to combine everything on the plate per bite to make it sort of work. Give it a C+. Also tried the sirloin pasta without the cream sauce. Steak was rubbery, tasteless and well undercooked for medium/ medium well. Hated it. Also didn't care for the kids buttered noodles; greasy and flavorless like just about everything else we had. After all the food we got, we came out with a less than good review of this place. I also don't like having to tip in front of the waitstaff, cause they are standing right there in front of you and you end up tipping on the tax, which plays no role in the service. I wouldn't recommend this place to eat; maybe sit at the bar for a few but that's really it. Can't understand how many people were coming in and out of this place knowing there's nothing great to eat here and the kitchen doesn't seem to care about how they cook.

During my most recent visit here I got a burger with fries and a Margarita. The burger was a large half pounder that was well made, very juicy with fresh veggie toppings. Fries were quite good as well with a nice crunchy texture. Relative to my Margarita on the rocks it was quite large in its own right, guessing 12 to 16 oz's and very tasty. Supposedly 2 oz's of Blanco were in the drink but was hard to tell based on all the other components and size of the drink which diluted the liquor. At $9 it is a great deal where my friend had an Old Fashioned for $10 which he was quite happy with as well. Overall another nice outing at Bill's Tip N Inn where I have become a regular at this business.

Someone asked if they could get breadsticks and she rudely said, "are you just here for the free breadsticks?" It was really busy, but the attitude was uncalled for. I would have given 4 stars should we have a better experience at the bar. On the other hand, our server at the table, and especially the hostess were a breath of fresh air. So many people waiting and she still was trying to smile and greet us the best she could. The food was decent, good breadsticks, great French Onion Soup, loved that Traverse City Spinach dip! We got some salads, and Chicken Pot Pie had a good flavor. The sound system was great, I really wish there was more seating in the area near the bands.
