It's *gasp* trendy, if I can say that and not sound like a dag. Probably too late for that. Ah well. There's craft beers you've never heard of and a thoughtful wine list and creative (and affordable!) cocktails and lots of different places to sit depending on whether you're on a date, a corporate lunch, or a catch-up with an old friend that likes playing pool. A beer garden with its own bar and also an upmarket bistro. That has amazing food at ridiculously good prices! I had a beef wagu pappardelle pasta which was absolutely delicious and the wagu just melted in your mouth! There was also a sirloin steak ordered that was delicious and very well priced aswell. The atmosphere is just the big winner! Can't wait until it's fully renovated! This place is definitely going to be my new local!

We very nearly cancelled our booking next door and ate here instead. We didn't though. We had a very nice meal next door and will have to eat (rather than just look at) the food next time. The day we went, the sport on the TV is determined by what the manager wants to watch - even if the groups sitting in the area are all asking for a specific game. There was literally no one left sitting in front of the main screen, instead all huddled around a small screen inside. Broke up our group. Service rating down - this has NOTHING to do with the staff behind the bar who are delightful working the best they can with what they are given. This downgrade is purely a reflection of the service of the owners / managers and consideration of their patrons.

The owner does allow you to get pizza from Tipo 00 if you don't like the menu they have. Cocktail list is extensive and there is a good selection of single malts and other spirits. Ive never seen a broccoli served this way, nor have i ever said my broccoli was absolutely incredible, but it was!! And the beef rib - superb.
