All the machines were new and clean. Store counters and carts were also clean. Also they have complimentary coffee in the back. What a nice touch. My only complaint would be that they need a water mat for when it's raining outside. My wife slipped right after taking two steps into the store since it had been pouring outside and the front entranceway was wet. She could've hurt herself but the only thing she got was a bruise and some embarrassment falling in front of others.

And it's been a while since I went to a laundromat. Used to be, you could use single bills or coins. They've got an ATM in there. But now, you need a card that can only be filled in $2 increments, with random amounts for a wash and dry, so it's impossible to use the actual value on the card. The card swipes are hit or miss. Think "NYC Metrocard".

We already knew they were good but that was more pronounced when they closed and we had to go elsewhere. Open back up! My husband and I want clean clothes Update: they're back open, and it seems their prices have increased only slightly (as it did basically everywhere to cover the major loss of funds), but no complaints there as it wasn't an astronomical difference. Still our go-to laundry place Updated Update (8/9/20): Uh-oh ..it seems their quality has gone down even with the price increase. Our clothes and sheets have been returned with stains that have easily come out with a quick soak by hand on the last couple of batches. What's quite unfortunate is the fresh laundry smell has been long gone even at pick-up. Sadly, COVID and related closures have had quite the impact on many businesses, and this one is no exception.

Geeat laundromat and I still prefer it over the others in glen cove, but they're not my go to…read moreanymore. I would give my clothes for drop off and the lady with curly hair (always smiling) would do a great job. She would hang dry my clothes that were delicates without me even asking. I always tipped well and appreciated the great service. The best part was, they hung my wet clothes on hangers so all I had to do when I got home was hang them right into my closet. As a busy working woman, what more could I ask for! :) However, the reason why I stopped coming here: 1. They stopped hang drying and providing those hangers, and told me it would be a ridiculous extra charge to have that service done. They already charged extra per pound for drop offs than the other laundromats in the area (which is fine with me considering the service they provide), but now to say that that's not included in the service anymore? What am I paying premium price for then? The worst part is, in my last laundry pick up, I had someone pick my laundry up for me, and the staff there asked the person to bring back the hangers. To me, that's very unprofessional and not a good look for business. To penny pinch on hangers worth not more then 25 cents is a bit ridiculous to me. I understand you may be trying to cut costs, but don't take away the one thing that sets you apart from the other laundromats. 2. In my last pick I found my pants hung up in a way that made me very upset. The way they hung them made an extra gap on the sides of the pants (all of my work pants). Many of my clothes in this load just looked so worn out from the wash. A lot of my pants had strings coming out. The last service done was just a major turn off for me. I'd love to go back and have the service included in the drop off price, but I won't be paying top dollar to be penny pinched on good services.
