This review sounds similar to to some others for this place.
I had a brake line leak right by this shop, so I drove in and asked if they could fix it.
Ultimately, I ended having to pay $275 in labor costs to have the car put back together (wheels on / calipers swapped out with old parts). They were charging me labor for the 2 hours while I was waiting for parts to come in because a mechanic was using a flat head screwdriver to scrape part of the wheel bearing for 2 hours since I asked if labor was "by the book" or "by the job". After he told me, "by the job", he was sure to make himself look busy for the entire time.
I ended up calling a tow truck and having my jeep towed to another shop nearby. I don't like to waste money ($275 for nothing done) but it was better than the $1200 they were going to charge me for front end calipers. I am very surprised that mobil lets this shop associate with them.
In closing, when I towed the jeep to another shop, the new mechanic said, "it's just a loose break line". He charged me NOTHING since it was in and out in 10 minutes. I have invoices from both shops verifying these claims and a tow truck receipt. In addition, when Wills put my car back together for $275, they left the brake line loose and said, be careful when you pull your car out of the shop, your brakes don't work. They knew damn well that the brake line was loose and were trying to get me to buy a full brake service (over charging on parts by 300-400%) and charged a insanely high number of labor hours.
I recommend: Towing your car from this place if you happen to be there before you let them get your car in the garage and block it in with their truck. Extortion at its finest, I almost called the police. At one point, I called a friend and the owner saw me on the phone an came out in a panicked condition afraid I was calling the police.
You not giving this your place business isn't enough - it needs to be shut down (and mobil needs to know what is going on) read more
