Agree with the other reviewers - crazy prices for gasoline ! I filled up the tank and when I turned around to look at the bill it was almost 100$ ! The tank wasn't even completely empty. There was no one there to pump the gas - so if it was full service - it was actually no service. I tried to get a receipt - no option for a receipt. I took photos instead. The button for the pump was hanging by a wire, no joke. I looked to see if there was anyone around to fix it. I paid it and left. The only thing worse than wasting money is wasting time. I've heard that gas prices are higher out on Long Island but this was outrageously expensive. When I got back to the city, the gas prices were a lot less. Caveat emptor ! read more

Warning to others This gas station is taking advantage of customers. I was charged almost $2 extra per gallon for "full service," which was never posted anywhere. I only ended up in the full-service lane because there was a car in front of me, and the attendant came straight to fill my tank. I paid with my card, and everything seemed fine until I checked my bank account, I was overcharged by $30+. When I called the station, they told me that full service costs nearly $2 more per gallon, which was never communicated or clearly marked. This feels like a scam tactic. I am lactose sensitive and had a milkshake type drink before a long drive. I made my mom pull over to this gas station. Not only did the guy outside direct me to the indoor restroom helpfully, but the indoor staff were also helpful and super friendly. Great service. All the workers wore masks (very covid-friendly) and the guy behind the register was lovely to deal with. Also, it was probably the cleanest bathroom, let alone gas station bathroom, i've ever been to. I highly recommend. read more

I made a big mistake pulling into this Slate Hill, NY Exxon Mobil gas station to fill up a 5 gallon gas container. First, shame on me for not seeing the sign that they charge extra for using a Credit Card. The sign I did see is that Prepayment is required inside. I went in and told the cashier I wanted to purchase 5 gallons of gas for my gas container. He inquired if I was going to pay by Credit Card, however, he didn't inform me that there would be a penalty surcharge. When I filled the container it only took 4.77 gallons and the pump shut off! So I paid for 5 gallons, paid a penalty for using a credit card and I didn't get the full 5 gallons. I will be driving by this station in the future and sticking to purchasing from Exxon Mobil in New Jersey where there is no penalty for using a credit card, you get what you pay for and there a gas station attendant to handle the fuel. read more

Looking for a gas station that has poorly maintained pumps and exorbitant pricing? Look no further than this Mobil. Not only are the pumps poorly maintained but filthy. My clothing and car reek of gas and the smell won't go away. The only perk of this Mobil is the location which means they could care less about your experience. All the more reason to drive electric cars. Friendly gas attendant and the air pump is FREE! and it actually works! After several months of enduring this lousy winter weather we've been having, my tires couldn't take it anymore. The potholes along the Long Island Expressway and Northern State Parkway has completely molested my tires and literally gave it bumps and bruises on the walls of my tires. My air pressure was down and had no choice to pull into this Mobil station after work. It's located right before the LIE ramp off of Glen Cove road. Honest repair shop. I have 28k miles on my car and my warranty with Toyota is up. I needed a place to get an inspection and an oil change and I knew Toyota would rip me off if i came back there. Anyway i went to Exxon today and dropped my car off. The service manager, I think his name is Nog?? Took a ride with me for 5 mins because I had a nasty vibration under the hood. I dropped my car off he called me 1 hour later that he fixed the vibration for free. He recommended new brakes and I went for them. When I went to pick up my car he only charged me half for the brakes. Overall really good experience and I could tell they genuinely want to do a good job and build a customer base.
