I've had 2 instances in the last 6 weeks with my kids and their sight equipment... first time baby girl had the leg on her glasses come off when the screw fell out. I didn't have a replacement screw and I didn't feel like driving into Baton Rouge to the place where the glasses were bought so I figured I'd pay whatever they charged to get it done local... stopped in asked if they could repair, didn't tell them I'd never been here before.... they said sure in under 10 minutes glasses back together and in my hand....I say what's the cost? They say nothing, free service...to myself I'm like Damn that's great! Thank them and leave.... A few weeks later the boy comes in with the lens out of his glasses... dropped them he said.... Back I go, the folks here look at them and 10 minutes later completely repaired.... how much I ask? Nothing, free service they say.... again I'm like Damn that's great! I'm pretty sure they know I've never used them before for eye exams but the staff has been 100% friendly, efficient and professional.... they offer exams, frames and lenses and after my repair experiences I'm thinking I may have to start taking my kids here.... I'll wholeheartedly give them my endorsement because if my experience as a non-customer is any indication I expect they treat all their customers great!

I came in for my check up and immediately got greeted by a very attentive and professional staff that got me going. After a very brief wait, a tech called Tisa took me to an exam room and took very good care of me; she was very friendly and efficient and made me feel calm. Dr. Arora came in a few minutes later and gave me my check up very efficiently. He was again very attentive and willing to answer all of my questions. He surprised me by remembering about me and my family, and asked about them. He made sure that I knew everything I wanted to know and took the time to allay all of my misgivings and questions. Dr. Arora and his team take you back to a time when Drs actually cared about patients. He is not only one of the best at what he does, technically, but also takes the time to make you feel comfortable with the whole process.

After 1 hour and 45 minutes have had our vision checked by an assistant but not seen the doctor at the 2 hour mark. I have to leave in 20 minutes to make MY next commitment. I'm going to need to leave without completing this visit opening up a whole can of worms with the insurance company and I'll be out my money and time for nothing. Is this a one off? Understandable things come up, but should we have been offered to reschedule an hour earlier? Need some improved scheduling or should this have been better communication with us? Although a minor additional reason, as another reviewer mentioned, there is a $150 consultation fee even if you don't get anything done there - in contrast to most other surgeons I went to that offered free initial consultations. I would not have minded paying for the consultation if I felt that my questions were answered and my concerns were addressed attentively, but I kept getting the same question repeatedly, and did not feel that the consultation was worth the cost.

I wasn't sure what to expect because the office seems like something between a spa and a doctor's office. It was exceptionally clean and beautifully decorated. The check-in process was very easy with minimal paperwork, and then I was taken into an office to get some photos of my face taken. The procedure itself was painless and Candace had such a gentle touch! She explained everything she was doing as she worked and nothing she did felt too aggressive. Candace was very professional and I could tell she was very knowledgable about all of the services she provides. I was done in no time and my skin felt fantastic afterward. Having the need for an MRI I was assigned to this facility which I was not aware of it at all since…read moreI reside in Baton Rouge and have always used the Medical Center for all health matters. The procedure was assigned here due to the fac that I could be seen much sooner than at any in BR and there was a certain urgency to get it done. I went this past Thursday and from the moment my wife and I entered the building we were taken back by the condition of the premises and then the employees, including the Security Guards that we conversed with. At check-in we were received by a young lady whose demeanor and prompt service was unique and very welcomed. Then as we got to meet the lady that was going to put me through the process, Amber, things got even better as she was so sweet and knowledgeable and noticed my concerns as to going through the procedure, although I have had those before but at other facilities and not with what my eyes were seeing, i.e almost brand new equipment, cleanness that you could eat off of the floor, perfect A/C temp, just plain amazing. Also met her counterpart and gentleman that was just as fantastic as Amber and who answer all of my fears and questions in a very calming fashion. The procedure went forward and she played my 60s music which made me feel rested and happy, yes, happy because it was so positive in all ways. The entire procedure was 18 minutes with & without contrast injected (I did not feel it at all!) and the results hit My chart some 35 minutes after it was finished, they got to my PC even before I got to my house in BR!! Overall there is no number to positively assign to my experience, there is not because I am still in astonishment from it. Since 2014 I have had seven MRIs but none can be even be close to what they did for me at this facility in Gonzales. Congratulations to them and God Bless them for their fine work and help!
