Dr. Samuels and her team are the reason I still have the ability to see. I had a very dangerous situation with my left eye that if not properly diagnosed could have left me blind in that eye. The doctor worked quickly to examine and get me the proper treatment to save my vision. Every time I have called for help with my vision her and the team have went always taken care of me. Give this location and try if you want great professional and friendly help. They also have a nice selection of glasses and sun glasses.

Confirmed this with receptionist when I made the appointment. I was expecting the usual, comprehensive eye exam with dilation. My co pay for this exam should be $10 per my plan. When I arrived for my appointment I gave the vision card and my ID. I was then asked for my medical coverage card. I gave it but didn't really understand the need for it. I was then called back to the window to hear that my exam would be $160.00 in case there were a medical issue to be determined. I had not even seen a doctor at this point and had no diagnosis to warrant medical attention but my Met Life coverage was being excluded. I did not stay for the appointment and reported to Met Life my experience. Ask all the questions before you make an appointment and get this run around.

The initial assessment was very nice, there were only a few people there (went to Dunwoody location), and the doctor that did the assessment was extremely knowledgeable and wonderful at explaining everything. I had to go to the Galleria location because they had the more specialized laser for my horrible prescription. I wasn't really nervous, but excited to finally have the procedure. I was a bit put off at first (not to the point I'd reconsider) by the sheer amount of people there for Lasik-- and ONE doctor. It's definitely a mill. They must make a fortune. Second, I was put off by the doctor. He looked really rough-- like a homicide detective or military captain. Like he's been beat up a lot and doesn't shy away from a good fist fight (LOL). He smiled a lot, to make me feel more comfortable, but he didn't really try to answer my questions and seemed annoyed (some of the things he said to expect were NOT what the doctor who did the assessment said-- he didn't have any interest in hearing it). All said, he did know how to use the laser and corrected my vision just fine. The surgeon is just one of many of the cogs in the wheel, there is no patient-doctor relationship, and they make it very impersonal and sterile to manage expectations (IMO).

I had Lasik surgery about 8 years ago. I just went for my yearly exam in February and I still see…read more20/20. I believe having this surgery was one on the best decisions I have ever made. It has freed up my life in so many ways. Dr. Eisner and his staff were awesome to work with and I would recommend his practice to anyone who is considering having their vision corrected.

My review isn't based on the quality of care bc Im sure Dr Eisner can perform LASIK as good as any…read moreother with the equivalent machines. My experience here was disturbing in another way.. I got a botched LASIK job in ATL, and went for a opinion here. My issues were exactly those referred to in military guidelines compounded by large pupils and vitreous detachments in both eyes. My questions must have been spot on. I believe this bc upon my departure, i walked out with one of their " release" forms. Some goon ran out and demanded it back. Lasik was a big money maker. Lasek is the surgery i should have gotten. Yet Lasek is more painful as there is no flap. Eisner defended LASIK and he should bc it has it's positives like easy tune ups post initial ablation, but he failed to grasp that in my case, LASIK was not ideal or perhaps neither choice was. Not once did Eisner acknowledge the militarys views as well as Dr Gaytons. An open mind instead of fear is the way.
