Never felt rushed and saw plenty of interesting places in Yorktown. Can't wait for our next trip to plan another Segway tour. Randy was a wonderful guide. Enjoyed the 2 hour tour and wish it could have been longer, so much history in the area. Very happy we went mid week, we were the only ones on the tour which really helped us get comfortable at our own pace. Strongly recommend.

It was a really cool experience and definitely highly recommend best way to see Yorktown. Super bike friendly! It was $25 per person so not bad at all.

After many years at YRYH, we made the decision to pick up anchor and move elsewhere. What used to…read morebe a marina with a restaurant has become a restaurant with a marina attached. Marina management has made it clear to slipholders who has sway here. The last straw for us is no more DIY in the boatyard. From what I hear, 35 other boats at YRYH left as well. If you are a transient coming for a weekend, you will be fine. But if you are looking for a longer term set up, you may want to consider sailing to another destination.

Morgan and Preston, GM & AGM, have made a pretty decent team and there have been some noticable…read moreimprovements this year. The boatyard is no longer operated by YRYH, it is operated by boaters world and I would steer clear of them as they have built themselves a very poor reputation since taking it over. It's true that the restaurant, YROC, has become a big driver of traffic in the marina and they can be a pain for slip holders but that has been a little better this year as well, if they expand again I'm sure I'll need to change this as it will truly be a restaurant with a marina on property but so far so good. The docks are nice floating docks with plenty of room and well maintained.

I found it because as I searched on my phone this was the closest place to where I was working at that day. I pulled in the parking lot and felt like this would be fine but likely just mediocre since it's an old building. Yet what did actually take place is that the second I walked out of my vehicle I could already feel the vibe here. It was instantly calm and relaxing here. I was not sure what to order but my favorite thing that does happen is when I ask the servers at a restaurant what would be best to order especially when I haven't been to a certain place yet. I got great easy recommendations and grabbed those. The food was simply good and the whole feel in here was very nice to come to. I did have to tell my server that it was not good nor was she good either. So I took a quick video of it. https://youtube.com/shorts/cTRzPYCfloA?is=B9OPBoDb9rHKhaX9
