Horrible! Tearing up my yard. Leaving holes in my yard due to lawnmower being too large. When they turn they tear grass and leave holes. Trimming is not straight and they leave zig zags in yard. Tire marks from equipment all over driveway and sidewalk. Throw rocks on lawn when riding up and down street trying to clear grass. No self awareness or attention paid to your property. read more

Their quality is poor and they do not try to correct their problems. They just abandon the customer and move on.

These guys are contracted by our HOA to service our neighborhood. They continually cut everybody's yard so short that all of the grass has died even when nothing has grown they still run the mowers over it just to ensure everything is good and fried. Neighbors who have opted out of their services still get their yards cut when they are not supposed to. I've spent too much money on my lawn to have it be destroyed week after week. I would legitimately pay them to not cut my grass. read more

I did get a patio and they did work with me on a change of design to follow HOA request. But we did not get what we asked for on initial consultation. When we asked about getting what we wanted their response is defensive and said they followed the contract? I wish they were more customer oriented, I asked to speak to owner and was told he is out of the office? If I had a customer that had concerns of their work then you know what the response should be. I contacted Williams and had someone out to talk to me. They promised they would get me the name of some plants/flowers in about a week. That didn't happen. I had to follow up and they sent me the names of 4 plants/flowers that would work in a 60 + foot area of landscaping that I needed alongside the foundation. What? They didn't even look like they would look good together. That was all I got after waiting for 2 weeks. If this is the best they can do? No phone call follow up or any conversation at all. If this is their best, I can live without it. I suppose I'll keep on searching. read more

I rarely post anything on social media, including Yelp! But our experience with Williams Landscape and Design has pushed me to make others aware of this scam. We signed a contract the first week of September for landscaping our backyard. The original design left out the three things I specifically asked for, so Aaron Williams, owner, quickly reworked the design to include at least two of the trees I requested. He immediately reworked the contract and had us sign it and promised he would get the actual plan to us very soon. We paid $2,788.76 as the initial payment on the contract. We needed the plan to take to our HOA for approval before the first shrub was planted. We heard nothing from Aaron Williams for the next month. Whenever we called the business, he wasn't there but we were assured he would call us back as soon got there. He hasn't called either me our my husband since September 2. In October, we learned the lot lines weren't where we thought they were. I called October 20 and explained to his office staff that the original plan wouldn't work as most of it encroached common area and a water easement. Aaron wasn't there but would call in two days. He never called. Finally, in November, my husband called the office, told them we couldn't do the original plan (that we never received to take to the HOA) and we wanted a refund. He went to the office and received the paper plan but no refund. Today, December 21, the office manager sends us an email saying the deposit is non-refundable. Here's the scam: make up a plan that excludes what you asked for, promise to send a revised plan, then just ghost your customer until they have to go to somebody else to get the work done, and keep the considerable deposit for doing nothing. read more

We recently had a retaining wall and driveway wall installed by Williams' Landscape and Design. Aaron Williams met with me and designed the walls and the turn around for the layout and estimated costs were completed in a very timely manner. Everyone in his organization that we had contact with whether over the phone, via email, or in person, were fantastic. They were friendly and communicated with us on a regular basis. They were easy to work with and always had our best interest at heart. The men who performed the work on these walls were very conscientious, experienced, friendly and completed the wall ahead of schedule. They worked very hard and during all types of weather. We are especially proud of Joel and his team. We love them all. Upon completion of the wall, there was a team of men who laid sod, spread seed and mulch. They left everything clean and beautiful. I cannot say enough about all of them and I thank God that He brought them into our lives. Call them today! We are not receiving any favors, money, etc. for this review. Worst contractor out of the ten plus contractors who have worked on my house. Company is extremely disorganized, workmanship/craftsmanship is not even closely commensurate with the price paid, and can't communicate with customers. To address the disorganization, with only one day of rain, our job was pushed back two days. The kicker was we had to call them the day after they were suppose to start to figure out what was happening. Requested delivery of mulch on Friday, again had to call late Friday to be told the delivery would occur on Saturday. During the job, the took the dirt they dug out and spread it out in our lawn, covering an area over twice the size of the patio. Wrecked the grass I had professionally seeded the previous fall and had to pay extra for sod. Was told prior to the start of our job all materials were on-hand. Was told job was done, then Company President said the fire pit was not complete. It took another nine days to get the fire pit parts. Demonstrates the company is disorganized when the crew lead doesn't know the parts of our job. Had to email the Company President to have half the pergola top replaced because of poor quality wood. The hand cut pergola ends were not sanded, nor was a proper coat of paint applied. Contractor did not caulk any of the joints between the the pergola rails and cross beams. Found out from contractor wood came from Lowe's, expected a better lumber company then that for the price. Expected better craftsmanship for the price paid Company has a real problem with estimating the job. President claimed the estimates are accurate, but too many instances dispute this claim. They were way over on hours for the job. The owner and another company rep estimated we needed six cubic yards of mulch. We expanded flower beds in back, added beds in the back, and added mulch around the entire side of our house and we still had mulch left over. Mulch was of poor quality, way too many rocks and other debris. Estimated 32 fire bricks for our fire pit, barely used 22 by my count. Used less gravel for the base, then estimated. I still paid for all the gravel and brick, what else extra did I pay for because of poor estimating? Company has problems communicating, maybe because they didn't like dealing with us. When spending a lot of money on a product that is sold as a quality product I expect more. Don't waste your tine or money on their landscaping. You can do much better with the other companies in the area. read more

Williams Landscape & Design was used by our builder so we went along with him. However, first most of the plants died -- twice; then we had to add additional drainage; now we're having to almost totally redo the irrigation system. Almost nothing they did was satisfactory. It seems that if you don't buy in to everything he proposes, he isn't interested. Don't waste your money if you ask too many questions and are value conscious. read more
