When I called to inquire, I was told this was due to weather, even though it was a perfectly sunny day. For the six months that we had the service, not even one month went by where we were serviced all four weeks that we were paying for each month. Every time I called, I was told I could not be refunded for missed appointments, and they would be added to the end of the year (mind you, the contract was through November already - who needs their lawn mowed in December?!) After six months of this terrible customer service I finally canceled and moved on to another company. If you do business with them, be aware that it is at your own risk.

We put out project proposals on Yelp twice to be ghosted by professionals. On the second project proposal, I received a swift response from Tom. He offered to come by my house later that week to discuss solutions and provide an estimate. When Tom and his partner, Taren visited, they spent a good amount of time discussing solutions with me. We collectively came up with an idea to use lumber that had been sitting on our property to build a wall. Tom and Taren had put more thought into the solution and called me later to suggest they build a fence with new, pressure-treated wood instead. Tom reasoned that it would last longer than the wood that had been sitting on our property for two years, and it would be significantly cheaper. I highly appreciated the foresight and honesty despite it being a cheaper option. We agreed to the plan and they built the fence Wednesday the next week. They even curved it to help with noise reduction and ensured it was level despite our uneven terrain! I am blown away by Tom and Taren's commitment to their craft and their clients. They fit us in quickly and did a wonderful job building us a beautiful fence! They even care about the small details of client interactions. For example, Tom sent photos and videos of my completed fence while I was at work, and he recommended his favorite wood stain brand to protect my fence from the elements and carpenter bees. We hired Scotty's Landscaping over the phone to do some pruning in our yard. We specifically told…read morethe owner that we wanted to walk him through the yard to show him exactly what we wanted done since he had never been here. We confirmed a date for a Wednesday. He showed up on Tuesday instead without letting us know. We were not home but he proceeded to scalp our shrubs and holly trees. When we arrived home, he was almost finished and we were horrified at what he and his workers had done. He cut off approximately 12 - 18 inches from the tops of the hollies that we were growing for privacy. Additionally, he cut all 12 of our daylily plants down to the ground, cut the bushes in front of the house almost to the ground at one point and did not even shape them so now they look like very short hedges instead of bushes. He chopped off about 18 - 24 inches from the top of a large butterfly bush that we were grooming into a tree. Plus every shrub on our property was cut back at least by one or two year's growth. We paid thousands of dollars for this landscaping and we were grooming all of it over these past three years. Now it's ruined because Scotty's Landscaping came onto our property when we weren't home and proceeded to scalp everything without discussing this with us. A simple phone call from him before he showed up could have avoided this disaster. We are heartsick over this.

Original work performed by them was great. took down some trees. their stump grinder was broken…read moredown and had to wait for that to be done. No problem. After the stumps were ground asked to have the stumps ground farther down and the yard leveled where the trees had been. Got a quote and had them do this. Owner came by my work to get paid and I had not inspected it yet but based on previous work I paid him. When I got home I found ruts from his equipment all thru the yard. He had spread what was ground up full of tree shaving and some dirt and seeded but left 2 to 3 inch ruts all through the yard and you had to be careful not to break an ankle. When called and asked to fix the problem, and then confronted I was told they would come fix it. Still months later and no contact or repairs. Do not use them.
