Dr. Bethany Thomas, along with her incredible staff, put me at ease and allowed me to feel safe under their care. I am now on a roll with Dr. Thomas with taking care of the dental issues that occurred from not regularly seeing a dentist because I was scared. With Dr. Bethany Thomas, there is no reason to be scared. Also, each staff member is so very kind and understanding which is rare but greatly appreciated. I highly recommend Dr. Bethany Thomas especially if you do have some kind of fear when it comes to going to see a dentist. They will all take excellent care of you.

S whenever I make an appointment, I know I need to plan several days ahead to be in a calm enough mindset to make it through an appointment. So when I got stuck in traffic to the point where I was almost twenty minutes late, I had no idea if they would still be able to see me and my whole "Namaste" mindset was out the window. Not only did they see me, they did backflips to make sure I was comfortable. They were fast, diligent, and overwhelming kind. I cannot thank Dr. Williams, Amy, or Theresa enough. I'm a nurse and I truly hope that I am able to show my patients the quality of care that everyone at University General Dentists have shown me.

One issue that stood out right from the beginning, was the egregious communication skills of the resident dentist. He aggressively questioned me multiple times about why it had been so long since I was there. I gave a general answer because I really didn't want to share with him my personal life story of losing my sister very unexpectedly in 2022. I didn't feel like I owed an explanation for being occupied with her only child who has severe Down's syndrome. I didn't feel the need to explain the amount of grief I have had to deal with over the past few years. I was finally focusing on my own underserved needs and felt like he was scolding me for being noncompliant. When he wasn't able to pinpoint my pain issue, his attitude spoke of unbelief. He questioned me about why I didn't come in sooner if I had so much pain. I explained that this was the first appointment I could get, and I made it 3 months ago. I waited patiently because I didn't want to go anywhere else. I had very good results in the past. I could go on with multiple other complaints about the resident dentist, but it would be several pages long. When I went to check out, I was told I had a past due bill of over $100.00 from my last visit in 2021 and had to pay it along with this visit. I explained that I never received any bills from them. I was told, they sent out 1 statement and they don't use a collection agency. At this point I wanted to get as far away from them as possible for my own mental wellbeing. So I quickly paid the bill and left. I will never go back and will encourage others to go somewhere else.

THEY WERE ALL A DIFFERENT COLOR & one of them fell out this year while eating a piece of bread. I almost swallowed the tooth accidently! The rest were not shoved into the gum line well enough & have that annoying space while flossing. It was a ridiculous scene of being uncomfortably rushed....but I thought they knew what they were doing!?! One of the receptionists promised there would be plenty of time, then lied about it when I arrived & never had the descency to apologize. The other front desk associate was SO wonderfully honest. When the office was investigated last year, she told the truth & notified my insurance company that each tooth was a different color & admitted I was not given the proper amount of time or care. FYI: The staff & Dr. Holmes wanted to go home at 5pm, instead of finishing all 6 teeth that were originally guaranteed. I was terribly rushed & not given the respect I deserved.
