However, Marci said that they needed to look at our 11-year-old roof, which we have never made a claim on and has been checked on every two years to maintain its warranty. Today, Kevin emailed me that "due to the recent hail storm in August and your area being subject to penny and nickel size hail, we are going to have to retract our offer." He didn't write anything about our roof's condition. I feel that I was misled by Kevin, and that if he wanted to check out our roof, we could have arranged it during the first 10 minutes of our initial phone conversation. That would have saved a lot of time.
