I have worked with Dawn from before she was married through now her having an almost ten year old. She feels like a friend at this point. I cannot say enough about how amazing Dawn at State Farm has been throughout my entire hit and run ordeal. Let's just say that no matter how prepared you think you are, you are never prepared to walk out to your car being victim of a hit and run. Once I was able to connect with Dawn and express the sadness and concerns I had for my Jeep, she was so supportive and helpful. I have a stressful job and I honestly didn't even know where my Jeep had ended up the Monday morning after the accident but by lunch I had a message from Dawn with all of the information I needed, putting my mind at ease. Dawn followed up with me for the next few weeks with updates from the body shop and working with the rental car company as well. I had a policy with state farm i did online and was assigned this office. I had policy for about a month when state farm decided I had too many prior tickets although the last ticket was in 2007. They decided to cancel my policy, this is where my problems began. These guys took it upon themselves to call my roommates and divulge my personal information to them. My roommates both have state farm insurance for their cars and we all have renters insurance. State farm tried the veil attempt to say to see if i was married which too me is BS. We all know that you get a cheaper rate if you are married so if i was married won't i put down married and get the cheaper rate? This is very irresponsible and criminal in nature for state farm to do this sort of thing. I will never trust them again! If you need to ask questions about this then ask me not someone else. Then when I call the office do not give me the run around when i ask for a GM name and number. You going to give me the 800 number seriously what a crock! Now i awaiting for the GM to call me back to resolve this issue stay tuned! read more

Dave was my State Farm agent for roughly two years. When I switched insurance companies he called to ask if it was a service issue or a pricing issue, then gave me some relevant information about a pricing adjustment that was going to happen five months down the road with my policy. That was it. He then let me know that he was canceling my policy as per my request and within a week I received a check. I would recommend Dave to anyone seeking professionalism from their insurance agents. Note: If you cancel your policy just a few days prior to a payment being drafted from your account, that amount will still be drafted by State Farm then returned to you by check. Was with state farm for 13 years. Moved to Chicago and this office stated that to receive a paper bill and not have my bill automatically deducted from my checking account I would have to pay an extra payment. So, to much dismay I allowed access to my checking account. Deciding later to change to GEICO because the rates were much better and I had no need for "rich man's insurance". I had a phone conversation with David where he used fear to try and keep my business. Cancelled anyway... 4 days later - state farm deducted my bill from my checking account and I had to call, explain and request for my money back. Will be waiting a week for a check that I in turn will have to put in my bank. FIRST WORLD PROBLEM? yes... but those jerks took my money at will and that irks the heck out of me. read more
