Had a problem with the firearm sighting it, took it back and their in house gunsmith fixed the problem that day. Turned out to be a problem with the ammo, they kept the casings I took with me and contacted the ammo manufacture that day also. Overall am very satisfied with service and the gun I bought that day.

Everyone except for the guy who was going to perform my background check. I didn't know that you couldn't make out of state gun purchases, when you have a permit, but I digress! He made it seem like I was wasting his time from him coming out of the back, smh! The initial guy that I was working with was great! Leaving out, I saw a lot of things I would like to buy, but it would have to be in a local store. Love this store!

How in the world could this place be reviewed so low?…read more Not only is this the best outdoor store in the north I think it might be one of the biggest that I've ever been to period! I purchased some amazing sandals that I'm very happy with and the staff couldn't be more helpful Prices were also very good compared to places in the south part of the state They also have an add-on area that has the largest selection of fishing lures that I have ever seen This place seems to me to be a destination ! I have ordered from Frank's 3 times over the last 5 years. On 2 of these 3 orders, they shorted me…read morequantity. On my last order, I ordered 23 packages of Tur-Turn hooks. They only sent 21 but it does appear that they deducted the price of the missing hooks from my total. Here is my complaint. If they do not have sufficient quantity to fulfill my order, then their automated ordering system should have prevented me from ordering a quantity that they could not support. Secondly, as a simple courtesy, they should have contacted me by phone or emails and explained they could not support my ordered quantity.. They did the exact same thing about 5 years ago. When I contacted them about the shortage, they were hateful and said I was being difficult. All I said to them was that they should have notified me that they could not fulfil my ordered quantity. There was no need for them to get hateful. We exchanged several emails and phone calls and they would never admit that they did anything wrong.

They…read morereally need to improve the sound proofing, don't expect to be able to talk to you friends or family or anyone on the range, guns are loud enough as it is and this range is like an amphitheater. The price to go for a half hour is decent. The workers vary, often they act like your an idiot, or they don't want to be there. They are extremely biased and not very helpful either. The Silver membership just gives you 25% off which means you buy 4 get 1 free essentially. Memberships that let you go in and shoot without paying are crazy high. You can go to Duncan's and get a member ship for less than half ($280) of Sheridan's gold membership ($800). Driving to bay city every week it would still cost me way less. Don't know what they are thinking.

One of the coolest gun stores around for older firearms dating back from the 1960's and beyond…read more Andy, the owner, is a wonderful person to meet and talk to with a lot of knowledge about the guns in his store. There are also modern weapons here as well if you are into those but the majority are older vintage firearms and equipment. In the process of moving to California I had to sell off my beloved Russian made Mosin Nagant. It had all the matching serial numbers and I kept it in excellent condition. Andy gave me a very good price for the firearm and an extra case of ammo that I had laying around for it. Whoever snatched it up is going to get a wonderful piece of history. This gun store is very clean and the owner and others at the store are nice people. As a woman I feel comfortable and welcome in this shop as opposed to many other locations.
