I have hired every few years it seemed. he has personally saved my life on numerous occasions. here is not a better trial lawyer in the state or country. He has always maintained his integrity. He is feared and respected in the court room. if you want to go to trial hire him. come out your pocket because quality costs but how much is your life worth? how much is your freedom worth? will fight any CURRUPT officer they have in Loudoun. he is well rounded being a Fairfax prosecutor for years and thank god is on the right side now. I have been to trial on three occasions on three separate cases and he won each one for me. to all the snitches, keep your mouth shut and lawyer up. best believe these cops make mistakes and he will find it and tear it up in court. US ATTORNEYS REPRESENTED BY HE UNITED STATES said quote "might be the best trial lawyer in the country" and I believe it.

He spent at the most 30 minutes on my case and charged me $2k nonrefundable retainer. The worst part is he didn't do what I paid him to do. As a female I felt like he was very arrogant with me and didn't listen to what the end goal was In my case. Not only did this cost me a family member but now i am very emotional each day since the event. I would never recommend Alex to anyone. Alex is not honest and only cares about his financial outcomes when he has clients. He doesn't care about the his clients or the end goal, he takes short cuts and doesn't consider the client's overall goals. He takes your money and fails to execute the goals agreed to.

Without his legal experience, compassion for others, and relentless pursuit of justice, I don't know if we would be enjoying the peace we are now. During my son's custody case, he helped him navigate from what was at one time a very painful process to a very happy and rewarding outcome. In a subsequent case, he not only demonstrated his superior strategic capability as a fine defense attorney, he always kept the big picture of my son's long-term future in mind so that everyone was mindful of what was truly at stake. We were pleasantly surprised because during hard times, we didnt have a ton of money but we found Bruce to be the most reasonably priced attorney you will find and yet probably the one most willing to go the extra mile. It is as if he takes each case personally as if you were a member of his own family. Yet he is able to remain objective enough to get you the outcome you desire and deserve. The humility and patience he showed to desperate and overwhelmed clients as he deftly guided us gently and/or fought like a warrior on our behalf toward that prize of real tangible success is now humbling to me. I can honestly and without hesitation say that Bruce is a trustworthy, dependable and reliable attorney who knows exactly what to do for his clients. His consistently calm demeanor is his gift from God. (Who wouldn't want an attorney that had God at their side?) I now understand that it is this gift that gives him that ability to focus in on his clients and their cases like a laser to ensure they have the most favorable outcome they can possibly have. For this and so many other reasons, I can't begin to innumerate; I will forever be in his debt. Bruce is our family's personal hero!

As an attorney (DC licensed), I am aware of the cliche among family law practitioners that…read moreguardians ad litem in family cases usually add nothing to a case but their cost -- they too often only inject yet another non-expert lawyer into the courtroom with her largely uninformed opinions and unpredictable biases. Sadly, my experience with Kelly King substantiated the rule. In the case in which I was involved, Ms. King disregarded Virginia's "Standards to Govern the Performance of Guardians Ad Litem for Children" (link below) to a surprising degree. For example, to my knowledge Ms. King: (1) Failed to rely on or consult with an expert, where allegations of abuse were made; (2) Failed to attend key depositions and a crucial IEP meeting; (3) Failed to contact key witnesses whose information was made available; and (4) Refused to inform the court of the children's express wishes, which were contrary to her recommendation In the end, my observation was that Ms. King provided absolutely no benefit to the children's best interests -- only a bill for "services" to the parties, which comes out of what would otherwise be available for the parties to spend on the children's *actual* best interests. Ms. King's carelessness drove a perverse outcome that exemplified the desperate need for reform in the family court system. It is entirely conceivable that Ms. King is not below average relative to other GALs in Loudoun County, and that is why I rate 2 stars rather than 1 star. It would seem he may have done it multiple times too: just check his Loudon County court activity. He will give you one sob story after another. After we tried to evict him, he tried to fight it in court and live in our home rent-free while the process played out. His actions show an antipathy for the law; he enjoys life under its comfortable blanket, using his knowledge as a lawyer to take advantage of those of us who just want to rent our home out to honest, hard-working people. Maybe he assumed he could just take advantage of us and we wouldn't be able to do anything about it. We were lucky that we had the means to hire an attorney to have him evicted. We now have a $24k+ judgement to collect; I don't expect we'll ever see any of that money. If you're comfortable hiring someone who does this kind of thing to other people, then please proceed. Otherwise, I'd recommend hiring a different attorney.
