Disappointing I never heard back because I actually saw a fence in our neighborhood that they did a good job on. I guess they don't need the business.

Biggest mistake hiring this company. We have artificial turf. We now have gaping holes where old…read moreposts were. The turf was pulled back and left that way. We had paving stones around the pool, once again just thrown aside. I called, complained and was rudely told we were supposed to move everything 3 feet from fence line. They left two huge chunks of concrete (over 150 pounds, old fence post anchors) behind my pool house. When I called and asked them to come get them (over several days, speaking to several people), Cindy finally asked, "Can't you put them in your trash cans, we're just a small family owned company!?" I have Ring video of their crew walking in and out of the area behind the pool house where they left the concrete chunks. They were completing the last 15-20 feet of fencing, and cleaning up. One guy throws a board over the fence onto my neighbor's property and says, "That's the last one!" They had to be tripping over that concrete for over an hour. color me disgusted.....

John and his crew exceeded my expectations with the quality of their work and their attitude to…read moretreat me right. They rebuilt a galvanized steel pasture fence that is on very difficult mountainous terrain. The land is ungraded, uneven, and sloping. The original fence was unable to withstand the last couple of winter storms and was leaning and seperating. Instead of just shoring up here and there and doing patch work, they reset every post. This involved digging below and around the original footing, mixing and pouring concrete, and aligning each post and bar. Then they welded the posts and bars for stability. They also built a crossbar brace for the gate, which, to me, is a thing of beauty. The project was very challenging, yet the crew was dedicated to the task and brought it to a successful completion. After 4 days of watching the crew work, I have to admit I miss them not being here every morning, they were not just industrious but polite and pleasant. I am not just satisfied, but feel joy when looking over to the pasture and seeing this fence which is both solid and beautiful. I would not hesitate to use J&D Fence again and am happy to recommend them.

After returning home some time later I noticed several spots where the screws split the wood when they installed it. There were also several spots where splitting occurred despite my staining the wood at their recommendation at the time of install. Over the past 8 months I have called and spoken to Chrissie repeatedly and explained I was not happy with the install issues and spots that were splitting already. I also explained there was a board that wasn't installed at the same height as the rest of the fencing resulting in a considerable gap underneath it. Chrissie has told me over and over again that Kyle would come by and take a look at it or would call me to schedule a time to come by. She would even provide days he would come by. I've canceled so many appointments and meetings so I could be home only to have no one show up. I'm incredibly frustrated and disappointed with the team at J&D and do not recommend them anymore. I initially had high hopes since they had installed multiple fences throughout my neighborhood but they clearly don't care about their quality of work or their customers.
