    Landmark Dental is an absolute disaster of a business, and their incompetence knows no bounds…read more I have signed proof that I paid you, yet I've now received FOUR separate phone calls in TWO days harassing me for money I sent weeks ago.Your billing department is either utterly inept or deliberately malicious--either way, it's unacceptable. But let's take a trip down memory lane and revisit just how awful Landmark Dental has been. In 2020 and 2021, I had dental work done here. My dentist, Kevin, upgraded my composite tooth to a porcelain one WITHOUT my consent. At the time, there was no way I could have afforded a $2,000 tooth--I specifically selected the cheapest option. When I arrived to get the crown, Kevin casually informed me it was a "wedding present" since I had recently gotten engaged. Fast forward to when I tried to schedule a cleaning before my wedding, and suddenly, Landmark decided I owed them for that porcelain tooth I never agreed to. I asked if they had even bothered to file a claim with my excellent dental insurance--of course, they hadn't. They assured me they would, but for six months, I had to battle with their utterly incompetent employee, Dee, because my insurance never received the claim. Landmark eventually stopped answering my calls entirely, leaving me to move on with my life. Now, four years later, here we are again--Landmark harassing me, ignoring all logic, and making my life difficult. And the cherry on top? I even paid for the porcelain tooth I never authorized, yet I'm STILL being hounded for money. This place is a joke. Their billing department is a nightmare, their customer service is nonexistent, and their ethics are questionable at best. If you're thinking about going to Landmark Dental.

    Rushed, Dismissive, and Cold -- Worst Bedside Manner Ever…read more I would strongly caution anyone considering Dr. Williams. Several months ago, he diagnosed me with an autoimmune disease based solely on a visual exam--no labs, no biopsy, no further investigation. Just a devastating, unsupported label--followed by a medication not intended for long-term use, and the daunting words that my condition would never go away. The symptoms that brought me to his office in the first place still persist. After struggling to find a medical professional who is familiar with the condition, I returned to Dr. Williams in hopes of getting clarity--some guidance on how to confirm or rule out the diagnosis. Instead, I was met with dismissiveness. He offered no direction, no follow-up and once again walked out of the room abruptly without addressing my concerns. On both visits, once he was done talking, he just left. No indication the appointment was over. Just me sitting in the chair, wondering what had just happened and where he went. To top it off, I received a bill a few days later--for what, I'm not sure, because he did absolutely nothing of value. I came to Dr. Williams expecting to meet with a specialist--for him to be thorough, collaborative, and evidence-based. What I got instead was a careless, unsupported diagnosis and zero patient care. My experience was not only unhelpful--it was deeply irresponsible.

    My dentist referred me here to get this gum guy to do a deep dive in my problem mouth…read more First off this place is really hard to find even when you find it. Your GPS or other map device will not tell you when or where to turn, it's dumb and frustrating. There's a traffic light where you have to turn to take two quick right turns to go up a steep hill towards a church but turn left into some big tress where a group of office buildings are huddled together and then try to figure out which one is which. The signage is poor or non-existent so best to call for specific directions when you get close. I arrived and found the office but found a locked door. Covid-19 protocols made me wait outside for a receptionist to bring me the new patient forms. I had to go back to my car to fill them out then a phone call that I was done resulted in being welcomed inside, finally. Dr. Jon was very personable and did a thorough exam with his assistant. He asked me lots of questions and explained all of his findings. He also discussed his opinions and recommendations but coordination with my regular dentist is necessary so I'll be waiting fir them to consult and then I should get the proposals for how we should proceed. Bottom line,: Everyone is very friendly, organized and professional. I have no issues with my experience once I finally found the place.Dr Jon did his residency at the VA in Birmingham so kudos for serving the veterans!
