I have sought out concentrated series of rolfing many times over the past five years to address specific issues. I absolutely love the modality. I bought a Groupon from William hoping to connect with a new practitioner and see if it was a fit. William basically told me all my previous experience with rolfers--five in three different states over half a decade--was "wrong," and that he didn't want to book me if I wasn't going to commit to multiple sessions right away. He made it clear that if I wasn't going to commit to more, I wasn't worth his time. I've never before encountered a rolfer (or any body worker) who was unwilling to book me for a single session to see what course of treatment was actually needed. Different bodies are different, and it's advantageous for the client AND the practitioner to get to know each other before the automatic assumption that 10 sessions is the only way. I Purchased a Single Session from Groupon to Try the Modality. But before I went to the Session, he was Texting me a Hard Sell about Buying more Sessions!? The Session was suppose to be for more than an Hour, but I got much less! He didn't bother to warm up my Muscles and just use his Fist to do a Deep Tissues Technique. Really Painful & Awful. Inaddition, he continued to talk & ask me all kinds of questions, throughout the entire time. Had to get on the Table, then off the Table, then back on the Table. All this time he was constantly moving and pulling on my Bra? Very uncomfortable & Couldn't Relax. To make matters Worst, at the end of the Session he slid Both his hands under my Underwear and Glided them all over my Butt. WTF... I was in Shock & Quickly got the Heck out of there!! My Advise Women, stay away from this Pervert. And Don't believe Groupon's Reviews, they're mostly inaccurate! Better yet stay away from Groupon! Because I've had other Bad Experiences with Groupon and Honestly if you Complain to them, their Attitude is... we can't do anything about that!? When I first came to William I was at a place in my life where I thought the pain I'd been living with for 6+ years was just something I was going to have to deal with for the rest of my life. I was in a car accident many years ago that caused my body to compensate for the injuries in such a way that caused severe tension, holding patters, and pain. I have tried chiropractic work, acupuncture, physical therapy, massage therapy, yoga, bikram yoga, among other things; Some brought me temporary relief but none of them freed me from the extreme daily discomfort I was living in. Working with William has been life changing in many ways. I do want to say I am still in the process of working with him having completed about 2/3 of the basic ten series of Rolfing., so I have not yet experienced all the possibilities he and Rolfing can offer. After about 3 sessions with William I started to notice the daily pain I had been feeling between my shoulders blades had not only drastically decreased, but was only occurring 1-3 times a week instead of everyday. After every session I feel rejuvenated and better physically than I felt before the accident. Obviously I that feeling wears off after a while, but with every session I'm one step closer to that feeling being long lasting and home-base! Something else I feel is important to mention is Rolfing work involves physical touch which can sometimes feel quite close or intimate. William is extremely professional and makes sure that you feel your boundaries are respected and you feel completely comfortable. I've been recommending him to anyone I hear talking about pain or tension. I am extremely happy and grateful for the results I'm seeing working with William, I really feel I have the chance to be comfortable in my body again! William is an extremely generous and kind human being. At times it seems like he has the ability to know exactly what's happening with your body and how to improve it. I've gone into sessions unable to fully articulate where I'm experiencing discomfort and William not only always finds those places, but in the process I end up discovering areas I wasn't even aware were causing pain. There is a logic and progression in Rolfing so each sessions seems to make sense and connect with the previous one., so it always feels like we're working towards a consistent goal! William has a lot of experience and has been Rolfing for many years During the sessions he seems to have an ability to sense how much pressure your body needs and exactly where it needs it. I was referred to Willy due to issues with stature and alignment by my vocal coach, starting in 2007. These were not only soon corrected, but rolfing enhanced far more than just my posture. He is an excellent, caring healer who has both a breadth of experience and a gift for listening to whatever complaints both you and your body are making. He's helped me recover from acute pain due to a slipped disc, from a wrist injury, and overall helped me keep a strong structure for my athletic endeavors. I've recommended him to people for years, and continue to do so. If you're going to try rolfing... I can't see why you wouldn't book a session with him. He cares about his clients well beyond just rehabilitating an injury... and will go the extra mile for them. And by mile, I mean actually... very many miles.
