Terrible customer service and even worse attitude!!!…read more I recently reached out to David about obtaining a copy of my tax return which he has prepared for me in 2013. I was told it would be ready for me last Friday 4/1/16 however when I went to his office he informed me that he didn't get a chance to do it. He was polite about it and we even conversed for a few so I left with the promise that he would finish the copy for me over the weekend. Fast forward to Monday 4/4/16upon my return to David's office I was greeted with hostility and called "pushy" because I left a message asking if the copy was ready because I had a 10 AM deadline that required the copy(a deadline i ended up missing due to his inadequacies). David then proceeded to tell me to leave his office because he did not feel like giving me a copy of MY return. What kind of grown business man says that to a customer!! That's the equivalent of the little kid on the playground taking his ball and going home because he was losing. Not only is that unprofessional but it is down right immature. Every interaction I had with David previously had been pleasant so I was quite shocked and hurt to be treated with such disrespect! Shaming a customer due to his own impotence is not only bad business but extremely immature. Proceed with caution.

The QuickBooks seminars for PC users only though. Leona came in when my old bookkeeper could no longer assist me so she had to get familiar with our way of doing things which was not so easy but she ahs taken notes and managed. We are an Apple office so we are using software she is not familiar with. Recently we agreed to switch me to QuickBooks for Mac. We tried it for a month and we both agreed that it doe snot work for my business and needed to switch back to what I have been using for years. She truly tried to work with the QB for Mac but there was not a solution for me. Its always nice when a QB junky can use other products knowing that it is bets for the customer. My only gripe she that she is not as proficient in Mac's as I would like.

For the 3 years that I was with them, I was happy with the service and timely fashion that they responded to questions and were able to get my taxes done on time. The start of this year, I was informed that the company had been sold to another company in PA in late 2023. I wasn't thrilled but at least I thought that the local accountants that have worked with me would be staying on board but no, I was sadly mistaken. This company in PA (Prevail) completely gutted the staff that had been loyal to this firm and were outsourcing the jobs to their accountants in PA. This caused my personal and business taxes to be delayed, even though I had all my paperwork in on time. I had to hire a new accountant to finish my returns in a timely fashion since Chamberland notified me that my returns would need an extension while they looked over my file. This was to no fault of my own but now I have had to pay another accountant to finish my taxes and Chamberland ie Prevail refuse to refund me for the work they have not done. It's a shame that a local business not only lost all their staff but what was once a good local business is now not the same.

She actually called the company that issued the check and due to the businesses being very busy, they'd have to call back..this is ridiculous, what's the point routing numbers, account numbers?
