He is excellent at what he does, has a thorough understanding of both Rhode Island and Federal tax codes, and can navigate the complicated landscape of all things tax related with with ease; providing great advice and top notch work, with a professional and kind demeanor. My taxes are somewhat complicated, and having him on our side gives me the peace of mind I need to understand and deal with the normally "scary" responsibility we all bear as tax paying citizens. On top of that, Jonathan is a committed family man, and good guy. The kind of person I want to entrust the personal and important task of tax preparation to. One will regularly find his son doing his after school homework in an adjacent office, near Jonathan's proud display of his son's Lego creations. That, coupled with his warm and inviting staff, a convenient location, and personal, high quality service, makes Jonathan Ucran the only choice for me and my wife. You can't go wrong here.

I've been using this accounting service for three years now…read more I own a rental investment property so doing my taxes on my own is something I'd rather not tackle, especially since tax allowances and breaks change Year to year so I'd much rather pay someone who's knowledgeable. They make it so easy. They send me a copy of my last year's return so I can see all the prior deductions and then I can fill in the current numbers for this past year. They also did my daughter's tax return for free last year. I drop off the packet with my new numbers and within two weeks I have my nice refund. I'd rather pay for this great service as opposed to trying it on my own and creating potential errors. Maybe I'll try next year!

The office was in a charming historic building in down town Providence. Everything from the hallways to the elevator to the pendulum clock in the office just reminds of a more classical time in the history of Providence, perhaps a better time. Nikki is very kind and welcoming. She has a positive attitude. We sat with her and her father, Larry. They know how to ask all the right questions and they gave us a detailed and thorough consultation. I was really impressed with their professionalism. Best of all, the consultation was FREE! And here is how I know Nikki and Larry are trustworthy. They advised us against a specific business plan and showed us its shortcomings, although they could have made lots of money doing the paperwork for us. This shows integrity. Larry showed me how to do a simple task at city hall that would cost me a mere $10 instead of something that would have cost around $1000 a year. Give them a try and judge for yourself!
