Went for a colonoscopy-- because of my age, not my first. While previously not a pleasant experience--now much worse since the prep Dr Goldberg REQUIRED was far difficult and disgusted and about 400% more expensive than that previously used. I even called him to ask about less expensive alternatives--but told "no." Since then I have spoken to other MDs who say that his required prep did not offer any significant advantage over other cheaper and easier alternatives. Also two said that they found that some people, like me, had a more adverse experience physically taking and tolerating his choice. But worse than that, was to find out later that although I was very careful in making sure that MD accepted my insurance, his office never bothering to make sure that his anesthesiologist also accepted the same ( my carrier is a major, well known and well respected insurance carrier). So now I am having to fight a over $1,400 anesthesia bill that otherwise should have been fully covered. Do not recommend

They are both wonderful at what they do and their care for their patients is phenomenal. Ed is very concerned about the well being and future of my teeth and gums and I really appreciate all the guidance he has given me. Dr. Brown is a very likable and funny guy and he's very personable. He always does a great job on our teeth and makes you feel comfortable. They both always ask if everything is okay and do you need anything. I actually don't mind going to them at all. Another great thing is that they're open on Sundays. Ed used to work at this practice and now he works in Pennsylvania full time but he still comes on Fridays to Amwell to keep up with his patients there. That is a dedicated and caring professional. Pianpiano is both of my parent's dentist, and when the time came for me to say goodbye to my childhood dentist over I came to his office. It's a small office with a few private rooms radiating off of the main entrance and waiting room, which is of course fully stocked with a wide variety of magazines (and all of them recent, not like the year-old versions that linger in most offices!). I'm actually kind of weird - I ENJOY going to the dentist. However, for those who might be far more apprehensive when the time comes to get one's teeth cleaned, rest assured. Not only is the entire staff at the office very friendly and nice, but Pianpiano himself is wonderful. He cracks a lot of jokes and makes you feel completely at ease. Yeah, your visit will probably still hurt some (hey, the guy isn't a miracle worker), but it will be as pleasant as it can be. And they definitely know what they're doing. Pianpiano took a look at my wisdom teeth and decided they should all come out whereas my previous dentist thought I still had some time and could at the very least keep the bottom two. Guess what? Those bottom ones ended up being partially impacted by the time they came out! If you're looking for a new dentist, definitely check out Pianpiano.
