In order to stop the foreclousure we had to get the entire townhouses outlets, switches and lightfixtures rewired from aluminum to copper. My uncle was batteling early stages of dimentia and didnt know where to turn. Some of the original bids he had were absoluely highway robberey. That was when I stepped in and found Tim with Watts Up Electric. Tim was sympathetic of the aweful situation we were in. He worked dilligently to get us in compliance with the HOA . His prices were fair as he is an honest contractor. I am forever grateful that we found his company because had we not the HOA would have surely taken my Uncles home leaving him on the street. I cant say enough good things about this company. Do your homework, get estimates from a few different places . Because there is a few companies out there that will quadruple charge that is 4 times the going rate. They get away with it because we as consumers dont know any better. I can assure you that Watts Up Electric works with integrity. Their pricing is more than fair. Tim seriously saved the day. What an awesome electrician. I will never use another electrician as long as i live. I will forever use this company.

I knew there was lots of work to be done, and honestly anticipated additional work to be done once we got underway. Daniel's quote was fair and reasonable and he was able to work with my schedule. Phase I: I knew electrical was a mess, but not until Daniel started fixing things, did I realize how lucky I was that my house didn't burn down. Then, we discovered that my garage was an even bigger disaster - my handyman shall remain in my heart, but his work was not "up to code" so to speak. We determined that I needed some additional work to in the garage area and I asked for an estimate to have it completed another day. Daniel had one to early the next morning. Daniel and his crew were so friendly and great. I am so pleased with their work that I've asked that Daniel and his crew return to complete the second phase involving the garage wiring.

Erik worked alongside his son and an apprentice, and all three were incredibly kind, polite, and easy to have in our home, even with kids around. I felt completely comfortable and trusted them enough to leave them alone in the house. They worked quickly but carefully and clearly took pride in doing things the right way. They went out of their way to minimize wall damage, including crawling through crawlspaces just to avoid unnecessary repairs. The work was clean, efficient, and thoughtfully done. Erik's pricing was shockingly fair- about a quarter of what other electricians quoted us, and the quality was truly excellent. I was so impressed that I ended up giving them additional work on the spot. Honest, respectful, and hardworking. This is the kind of electrician you hope to find, and we'll definitely be calling Erik again.

I contacted SJO Electric on the advice of a friend and I couldn't be happier! Ben and Geoff came out the next day and diagnosed the problem. I asked them to look at all the new electrical work and within minutes they identified several significant issues (not the first problem I had with the contractor I hired to do the reno) and on my request provided a quote to correct the issues. Ben and Jeff came out the next week and spent 4 hours correcting the problems (upgrading breakers, code compliance, adding GFI protection, and adding boxes) in my new kitchen. They had to add a box to the exterior wall of my kitchen (since it was already finished) so they also installed a very nice exterior outlet. They were punctual, friendly, courteous and cleaned up after the job, but most importantly competent, skilled and efficient. SJO Electric not only repaired the faulty work of another firm but gave me peace of mind that the work was done correctly. I now feel safe in my home again! I cannot begin to express how satisfied I am with the work they performed at a reasonable price! Everyone I dealt with, Cassie, Lisa, Ben, Geoff and Ed was professional, friendly and competent. They are also a local, Arvada based business. I will be contacting SJO Electric for any future electrician needs and will highly recommend them to all of my friends. Thank you SJO Electric!
