Incredibly rude owner, even after making a appointment for a designated time, a vehicle needs to be dropped off, you can not wait for it, even for a inspection, why have chairs in a waiting area then? 2 minutes ago I have worked in the auto industry for at least 10 years including an office manager position. We made an appt and specifically asked for a time where I could wait the short amount of time it takes to mount and balance a tire(maybe 15 mins). I got there at 12:55 And was told to drop my truck off because it was lunch time and they weren't working until they had their lunch. The female office worker made an appt and when I get there I'm told this!!!! Really!!!! I was yelled at and insulted, told to shut up, leave now and told they were not even going to sell me the tire I needed. I bought a truck from these guys. They were happy enough to put a sticker on it for me. When I had my mechanic inspect it, he stated that there was no way it should have got a sticker, it was dangerously rusted out. Willand Pond had covered the rust with some cheap spray to hide it. I sold it back to them after showing what my mechanic found. They were really rude about the whole affair. I later saw the truck for sale again on their lot. A guy I work with told me he sold them his car for "parts" because it was rusted out. He later saw the same car for sale on their lot. Don't trust these guys read more

These fools don't know how to work on cars. Don't let them touch your vehicles or you'll just be returning for more work in the VERY near future. After getting my car serviced and finding trash I didn't leave in my car inside and then problem recur immediately after, I spoke around to others who have had their work done here. This is not one of the worst, but the actual worst car garage I have ever been to. This place came highly recommended by a friend/fellow mechanic who is friends with the owner, Mike. So naturally I wanted to call and schedule an appointment with them for that reason alone, and I really needed the car work done too. First of all, the initial phone call I made should've been a hint of how unprofessional this place really is but I brushed it off as they must be very busy; so I didn't make a stink about it. Donna asked when would be a good time for me to bring the car in (I just needed it looked at to see how expensive it would be to fix) and I said 9am. She confirmed for a "9am drop off time", which I had planned on staying because I didn't have a ride to get there and back, mind you I have my almost 2 year old son with me. So this morning, I show up 10 minutes early to my appointment. My son was well behaved, sitting on his chair eating his donut, fascinated by the cars in the garage. So we go towards the garage door so he can look and that is when Mike walked in and said he would call me when to come back and pick it up. I told him I didn't have a ride and I was planning on waiting. He rudely exclaimed that there is "absolutely NO waiting allowed here". I stated that if I had know that was the case then I would have never made the appointment. I have waited at every car garage I've been to and this is the first time I've been told it isn't allowed. I also told him I believe that since waiting is not an option then they should tell their customers prior to committing to an appointment. He basically insinuated that I am lying and said that he has "her" (Donna) trained well and she knows better then to not say drop off. I have never been spoken to or treated as rudely as this man treated me today. My mistake is assuming this car garage allowed their paying customers to wait for their car like most places in the area. No wonder all of the review sites show the lowest score for this business! It's horribly ran, unprofessional and they do NOT care about their customers. Willand Pond Auto should learn how to treat paying customers and potential customers better then they do! read more

Horrible customer service..extremely rude mechanic/state inspector.Failing inspection is no big deal..it happens..but being told that it doesn't matter what the state inspection book says..I'm not putting a sticker on it..is just plain rude.I normally support small local businesses but not in this case. My Dad brought left his truck to be looked at, after 48 hours nothing had been done it and the mechanic told him to,"get this piece of $hit out of here and bring back your van, at least I know what I'm looking at with that one." They are all rude and on one occasion told my quoted a costlier repair to my Mom than to my Dad. Save the headache and go somewhere else. read more

Gary Gauthier doing business under the front of Willard Pond Auto.......Cash only business. I had gotten an estimate for two jobs on my vehicle. One job was to have a complete Trailer Hitch assembly to my vehicle of which he, Gary searched on computer and quoted $225.00 as the estimate for the complete installation of the hitch. Brought the vehicle in after I had major surgery which was about three weeks after original quote. He keeps the vehicle two whole days for he said he had trouble getting the right hitch. When I went to pick up the vehicle the actual price of the Trailer Hitch was $325.22 plus labor. After I paid cash he informed me that he did not install the Lighting Harness for the hitch for he said it would be an additional $125.00 for the part and then plus labor, and he did not want to do that without my permission. Hello! He had my phone number and had called to tell me he needed an extra day to put on the hitch, no mention of extra charge for lights, which Lights are standard. He then told me that in the State of NH I could pull a utility trailer during the day without lights if the Police could see my vehicle lights. I might have been recovering from Brain Surgery, which he knew, but I was not stupid so I left with my anger and my 2003 Escape. I then called the Ford Dealer, in Dover to put in the lighting harness and was informed that the Trailer Hitch Assembly ONLY comes together with the Lighting Harness and to install it they would have to order the whole thing, at my expense. When I explained my dilemma. The Service Person then recommended that I might have success with the U-Haul Dealer for they might have a way to fix my problem. The U-Haul dealer, in Dover, informed me that I was in luck for my vehicle had a hidden plug set-up, in the rear of the Vehicle and they could install the complete Lighting Harness for $57.00 of which they did. The service people at Ford and U-Haul said I should pursue the wrongful way I had been treated and they both said they had never heard of putting in a Trailer Hitch without the Lighting assembly and that I could have had the whole job done for much less read more
