The actual reason she tried to cancel was because she didn't do any work on it. When I told her I still had to come in, she rushed through it and ruined my wedding dress before I got there. I was so so so devastated. Hopefully I can find someone who can fix it! She also didn't bother fixing another dress I brought in and ruined my sister's dress & lied about that one too. Don't make the same mistake I did. Go somewhere else! Quality & customer service was absolutely terrible. I would give a 0 rating if I could.

I guess they just opened a few months ago so they are still trying to get stock in. I was able to score an item for 9 dollars!! :) It didnt take me long to look through their items as there wasnt really a lot there but once people start hearing about the store hopefully they will get some great items in. Will check back frequently to see how often they get items in.... Still thrilled about the item I got and waiting for the price to lower on the outfit on the mannequin...so I can snag that as well!! :)

This store has been open for a year and going strong....all because of the great items for sale and the customer service. I have sold many, many items here and been very happy with the payout. There is no way that anyone would only get $11 for top end designer items so perhaps "Ashley's" comments are not completely accurate. The store has alot of variety from top end designers to average priced items...which makes sense anyway...I want a good selection to choose from, not all high end or all cheaper items, a nice variety of things...and that's what Rhyans has. There are great handbags. shoes, clothing, costume jewelry, belts...it truly is a great little store. PLEASE try it for yourself, you won't be disappointed. Don't let negative and unkind comments like "Ashley's" deter you from checking it out (I see she tends to complain about many stores she shops at so is most likely just a negative person period). This is a terrific yarn shop, located in an old house with beautiful wood floors; two floors of…read moreknitters paradise! If I lived closer, I'd be a regular. They were very accommodating and had the yarn I needed, and so much more that I would have liked to buy. They offer loads of patterns and have quite a few beautiful pieces on display. This shop is a little reminiscent of Mary's Yarns in Unionville, which - sadly - closed a few years ago. I will have to shop here as often as I can to support them and my hobby. Furthermore they will be in Toronto at the end of April for the Knitter's Frolic.

I don't normally post this sort of thing but I am hoping that by doing so I might bring some…read moreawareness and show support for other service dog handlers who experience the same thing. This past Thursday I was having a rough day, but decided an outing might help. It took me all day but I gathered my strength and headed to the yarn shop in Waterloo. As always I had Erie with me and when I got to the shop there was a note in the window saying there is a dog in the shop. When I headed in the lady saw my dog and took hers to the back saying it gets along with people but not with other dogs. The other dog was barking and whining but there was really nothing I could do about that so we continued on. Maybe the lady thought I was taking too long or I wasn't going to buy anything and was just trying to get out of the rain, I don't know. But she came around the corner and said, "your dog is upsetting my dog and I'm busy and have things to do, so can you tie your dog up outside please?" I explained that she is my service dog and she has to stay with me, at which point she said, "well then you will have to leave!" I could have argued with her. I could've told her it was like asking someone to leave because their wheelchair was taking up too much space or telling someone with oxygen that they couldn't come in because there were lit candles. My dog is my medical equipment just like a wheelchair or oxygen. But I didn't. I just left. It had taken all of my energy and strength to get there I didn't have any left to argue. By the time I made it across the street to a little mall I was shaking and sobbing uncontrollably. I hadn't done anything wrong and neither had my dog but she told us to leave! I want to be like everyone else and do the same things in the same manner but I can't. Situations like these make a bad day worse and show the ignorance of others. As always we will continue to be positive and carry on without letting this bother us. For other handlers, please know we understand and experience the same. For others, please remember you don't know what people are going through. Please be respectful. #servicedog #doberman #medicalalertdog
