Took a ride over the check out the disc golf area but first took a trip thru the park. This is a very nice area with plenty of green space, ponds, trails and wildlife in the NW part of the city. You can access it from many directs with easy on and off of the interstate. Lots of traffic so pay attn. I wandered around the park. There were geese everywhere. The grounds are in really good shape for things being dormant. In the spring summer and fall this place is full of color from all the plants and shrubs tht are growing. Pretty much everything is labeled as well. read more

Was in a food coma and needed to walk it off. Looked up nearest park and this was very very cute. There is a ton of parking and lots of paved pathways to walk around. Beautiful flowers and greenery everywhere, tons of wild life that minded their business. Adequate shade. Great place to check out if you want something free to do. read more

I was pleasantly surprised by this park. I've driven past it so many times telling myself I'd go one day and finally did. I went on a Saturday afternoon and it was busy. The parking lot was full but I got lucky and grabbed a spot. I went in the winter so everything was pretty dead but I still found it really pretty and peaceful. I did a mile walk and loved it. Can't wait to come back in the summer and bring my pup for a walk. read more

Will Roger Park is a quite big park, bigger than one would expected. It's has several sports center and there is a senior center as well. There is a decent size stadium inside this park. The Vietnamese American Community of OKC used to celebrate their Lunar Moon Festival at this venue. It was awesome. Not sure why they've changed venue. read more

Great scenery. It very very Serene out there i like it I was able to just go out there and meditate and nobody bothered me

Great place for family photos. Several other people in the park at the same time. FYI they close the gates at 5 on on Sundays...don't push your luck...you very well could get locked in and have to call someone to unlock you to get out. Did notice a LOT of trash containers. Very clean and picked up park. Staff was friendly! Keep up the good work. Respectfully, Bryan Moore, Oklahoma read more

This is a lovely park. The gardens and water features are peaceful and interesting. Great spot for a date, a family, or some solitude. I grew up coming here with my grandparents, as they loved both the park's duck pond and gardens. The park itself has gotten kind of run down over the years, but I place the blame for this on the city's budget and not on the park itself. The amphitheatre's not used much nowadays, but (given the state of the world right now) maybe that's not such a bad thing. Lots of great restaurants around if you want to have yourself a social distancing picnic in the middle of this dreadful pandemic. read more

This is really a beautiful park ! They have a couple of water features ,statues throughout the park and some of the most amazing flowers. They also have little fairy houses on all of the trees and tree stumps with little doors and windows ! Definitely a park you don't want to miss! read more

Every visit to OKC should include a stop at the wonderful garden at Will Roger's Park. No photo can do the perfectly manicured garden justice! It has a variety of blooming flowers (seasonal of course) that are a joy to meander through. Bring a blanket and snacks to have a picnic. The winding trail also includes whimsical fairy houses for you to spot - please see my photos, they're hard to explain. I can imagine that children would love to walk through and spot them all. The garden is also a beautiful spot for any type of photos; I myself did my engagement photos here. With no fee to enjoy the garden, this can't be beat. read more

This place gets busy! We visited the gardens specifically on a Saturday and multiple weddings were stacked up. No joking, at least 3 brides! Bridesmaids and groomsmen were everywhere! Plus there were groups taking graduation and prom photos. The garden area is not all that big, with more terraced beds and walkways and less grassy sprawl. Every nook and cranny of the gardens had people. It surely took away from the serenity and natural beauty. So nice it's free, but I do wish they would limit the wedding traffic some. Gardens are manicured and clean, flowers are bountiful and the pond is gorgeous. We tried to enjoy our picnic, and chase a few butterflies with the kids. But staying out of the wedding parties was difficult. Ooo, and watch out for geese protecting their young. They can attack! read more

Wonderfully beautiful park that offers gardens for viewing, sculptures, scary geese (maybe I'm weird being scared of geese, but it's true), pokemon, frisbee golf, swimming pool, tennis, playground, amphitheater, senior citizens center, etc. I love walking around Will Rogers Park hunting pokemon with my son. I love the beauty of the foliage and plants. I ADORE that they label them so you know what you're seeing. This park is clean, well maintained & has beautiful areas for photoshoots. read more

This is a huge park and within are little parks. Fire example, there is a flower garden area. And a senior citizens area. And a tennis area. And ax playground. It's a great place to picnic with friends and family, take your dog for a walk or just enjoy nature. read more

This is my favorite park, other than the very rude people who post up on the sidewalks and pathways to take pictures and the people roaming mindlessly on their phones (why go to a park to do that?) and the couple I saw on Lime scooters on a busy Saturday on the very narrow pathways, it's always nice. I love going when everyone with kids is working and can't use the park for their photo background. I always wonder if these same people use the park otherwise or just come for the photo op. Either way, don't mind me stepping on your kid on my walk when they're laying on the sidewalk... read more

Was attending a wedding anniversary party for family. They had booked a room in the Garden Exhibit building for a few hours. Parking was easy, but the entrance to the Garden Exhibit bldg. is right at the corner of NW 36th and Grand Ave and if you're headed North or South on I44 to the NW 36th exit, go past the light and make a left turn. The building is well maintained, the air conditioner was working and the restrooms were available. As I was a guest I couldn't tell you what the cost of the room per hour was, but it was big. We had 7 round tables with plenty of room left over for a dance floor. They had access to a kitchen right off the room. If you have time before your event, drive around the park. It's a beautiful place. read more

Attached to the gardens, this whole area is just beautiful. I jogged the trail here while hunting for some pokemon and really enjoyed myself! As stated on the garden site, this place is well manicured and a feast for the eyes as you walk around. Gorgeous location and well maintained most of the year. Would recommend to get some sunshine.

I just had my wedding at the Will Rogers gardens on a Saturday in November, and wanted to give a few warnings to those who will be also getting married there but may not know the same things I didn't know until the day of. 1. Since this place is public, it has to remain open during the day. That means anyone can come in and congregate in the "lounge" area and homeless people use the restrooms. 2. Also, we had guests who couldn't find a parking spot because there were so many people at the park in general. 3. Again with it being public, we had no way to secure our belongings in the rooms we were getting ready in while we were not in there. 4. People may be sitting right in front of the conservatory while you are doing your wedding. Or just walk in before when everything is set up even though you're paying for it, and it's closed to the public on the weekends. 5. Outlets outside do not work, so don't plan on using them. 6. Volunteers put Christmas lights on the bushes and trees RIGHT before we were about to get in the conservatory. They even tried to tell us at 1:30 that we couldn't go in there until 1, even though it was obviously passed 1. 7. Some staff were very nice, but others not so great. 8. We had to have people getting the random people out of the building, and finally had to ask a worker to put up signs that there was a private event, and it did not stop people. 9. There was another wedding in the conservatory that night, so there was a bride and bridal party getting ready in the bathrooms and walking around the lobby during my reception, with their guest also hanging out in there. With this being said, it was a beautiful wedding, but I would not do it there if I were to do it again. read more

I love this park. I have to admit - I got married here -- I am enthusiastically biased. With that said - there's a lot to love. From the aquatic park (open seasonally) to the amazing fort-like structure (I can officially say I got married in a fort!) -- there's plenty of green space to wander, there's a beautiful rose garden and flower conservatory that's staggering, and for a minimal fee, you can rent one of the several shelters for your own private use by the hour. Lots to see, lots to do, and a lovely green space in the middle of OKC. Get out and enjoy! read more

Beautifully landscaped park with gardens and a large pond. I love going for a walk here. They have great Tennis Courts, Frisbee Golf, amphitheatre and they host free gardening classes for the public. (the only thing they're missing is a bike trail then they'd be the perfect park for me) read more

I absolutely love coming here. Beautiful flowers, and lots to look at. My boyfriend and I walk a few miles here every evening and we just love it. We enjoy watching the geese and ducks do their thing. We watching the fish and turtles swimming around and we LOVE seeing the tiny bunnies. Sometimes we are lucky enough to even see their babies. When the fireflies come out in the trees, I expect Tinkerbell to start fluttering about. It is magical. I can't imagine getting bored walking through here. My 7 year old son even loves it. I haven't tried out the senior center, amphitheater, pool, tennis or frisbee golf parts yet. I will probably only ever also use the pool. The only downside to this place is you can REALLY hear all the traffic. It is you, the wild animals, the flowers, trees and bushes and the damn traffic. I've lived here ten years and just found out about two weeks ago that this place even exists. This is a real jewel in the midst of the city. If you come here, no dogs, no bikes, no rollerblades or skateboards and DO NOT feed the animals. Have some respect, keep this jewel wonderful. read more

Disc golf, wide open spaces, animals, tennis courts, flowers, cascading water.... This park has stuff to keep you occupied! Decent place to walk around with some nice trails. Perfect for animal watching!!!!!!! There are a ton of squirrels and bunnies just.... Hangin' out. Plenty of birds to see so watch out for the poop! You might step in it on the side walk :X Baby bunnies pretend like they're invisible. It's really fun to watch and kill time. This truly is a beautiful park! This review is for WRP as a venue as I recently had my wedding at WRP. I was very impressed with how nicely manicured the gardens were and I didn't really see any dead foliage and the grass was all green and maintained very well. We had our ceremony in the rose garden and the reception in the giant glass greenhouse that you see when you're driving down I-44. The rose garden was stunning and I was happy to see so many flowers in bloom. It truly made for some beautiful scenery for the wedding pictures. The greenhouse was equally as stunning. There was way more room in the greenhouse than I thought there would be and I was relieved that the wife and I were able to comfortably host our 75 guests. My only complaint is that the giant air conditioners in the greenhouse were on a timer and didn't stay on the entire time, which made for a bit of a hot/muggy experience. Lastly, the prices for the venue were awesome. If I remember correctly, it was only $75/hour to rent the rose garden for the ceremony and $350 to rent the greenhouse for 4 hours for the reception, which I feel is extremely affordable for a couple on a budget. read more

In my opinion, Will Rogers Park is the most beautiful park in OKC. The gardens are gorgeous during the spring with dozens of varieties of tulips and irises. The trees and flowers and grounds are always beautifully maintained. There are also bridges and sculptures and plenty of birds and squirrels. This park is a great place for photos or a nice stroll. I look forward to visiting each spring to see the flowers. I highly recommend visiting Will Rogers Park, particularly if you are a nature lover. read more

What a beautiful park! It is maintained nicely and has nice walking trails. As you walk around you will see many photographers taking pictures of families and such. Be mindful of the time and make sure you are out before they close the gates. I got trapped inside and had to climb out over a fence and almost fell into the duck pond... As we were leaving a cop showed up. I explained we lost track of time and he was cool about it. read more

This is a great park for beginners and intermediate players. The courses play fast and the pars seem to be on point with the course design. I saw a lot of people out playing today as Disc Golf seems to be alive and well in OK-City. The course played very easy from Target to Tee Pad. Some Tee signs were wither missing vandalized or just in really poor shape. As for the park overall, was a little trashy and the trash cans I did see just didn't seem to utilized effectively at the tee pads as they could be. The people playing are very friendly and willing to show you the course. Overall, I would recommend you play this course it is pretty awesome. read more

I grew up going to this park. I recently drove through it and was horrified to see that the state had torn down the unique , old , and one of a kind buildings that has been a trade mark for the park... Don't remember anyone voting or asking the public about it. I don't see why this was done unless money was involved. Shame on the state for destroying something that NOTHING can replace. That park didn;t need another boring green house. This is disgusting. They took away something from a great park. Nothing historical seems to have value to our Legislation or Gov. read more
