Not impressed with this cafe, even less with the adjoining toilets. No vegetarian meal on menu except for quiche which has been unavailable on both visits . Requested egg and chips for elderly mother who cannot chew, told they would have to charge for the ham egg and chips meal. Negotiated beans instead of ham and told would be paying for the ham egg and chips as per menu! Beans are much cheaper than ham. Meal was well presented and cooked nicely, although chips a bit dry. Requested plant milk with coffee, but told no options to cow milk.Third of the population prefer plant milk yet sadly they are unable to provide. Vinegar and Mayo in plastic sachets so not eco sound. Disabled toilet didn't have any toilet paper, and regular ladies toilet had one broken soap dispenser and the other one was empty. Lovely place to have lunch they have fairly good prices and a great menu. They also have a childrens option. There portions are always good and most of the food is off the hot plate but if you do have to wait at all they never take to long. read more

Went with my sister and niece to Wilkinsons cafe in carmarthen today and had Christmas Dinner. Very disappointed. Turkey and stuffing, swede, peas, Half a small potato roasted, 1 piece of roasted parsnip, and 2 brussel sprouts which we could not get our knife or fork in. Come on Wilkinsons, surely you can do better than that.I would not dream of giving portions like that to anyone. read more
