I've found Gray's consistent in all three. It's a small shop, so they don't handle every single thing, but Chris is quick with a referral or advice when necessary, though it's rarely been needed. Call ahead for an appointment and they'll get you taken care of!

Was a bit of a wait on a Monday morning. Got there about 830 and was immediately greeted by an…read moreemployee asking what service they could provide for me, which was nice; felt valued right away. It wasn't till 915 that my car was brought in for my oil change. I left a few minutes past 930 with a job well done. They even vacuumed the inside and cleaned my windows. Only thing that could've made this 5-stars was if, during the initial greeting, I was given an estimated time to completion. Not everyone has an hour to wait on an hour change, which I understand; demand could be high for the moment, but at least let the customer know if it'll be a long wait so maybe I can come back when there isn't a long line.

My mom swears by this place. I went here because of the praises she gives the shop. I needed my…read moreheadlight assembly replaced. I took my car here. He looked at it. Then he calls me over the phone. Tells me he has to order my parts. It should be in less than a week. He gave me an estimate. I wrote the estimate down. I withdrew the amount out of my account. I put that money aside. A week later I take my car to the shop for my new headlight assembly. When he tells me the total, another $100 was added. I said wow, I thought it was another amount. He told me he has the total saved in the computer and he never told me that amount. I was so shocked and shook. But I didn't even argue with him. Thankfully I had an extra $100. I don't know if it was a miscommunication or him lying. Everything was done correctly to my car. However, I will never go there again. He did teach me to always get my estimates in writing. I feel like I was scammed.

My husband and I were in the city recently (from a different state) for his eye surgery which had…read morebeen performed that morning. Late in the day, when returning to the hotel after picking up some supper to eat at the hotel, the car made a extremely loud noise when I turned off the air conditioning prior to turning off the car. I called the local Ford dealership and asked them (less than one mile from the dealership) if we could pay them to send a repairman to the hotel to offer us a preliminary diagnosis so we would know what to do next. I wondered how will we get back to the hospital in the morning for his post-op check? How quickly can I arrange a rental when I don't even know if my car is operational or not? How can I leave a car in OK when I live in a different state? The Ford dealership said they could not send a repairman to the hotel but they said I could have it towed to them and the manager to whom I was speaking even gave me the name of his brother-in-law who works for a tow service. Then he added, but we cannot get to your car to run a diagnostic for at least two days. Needless to say, their "offer" of assistance was of no assistance to me or my situation. I asked the hotel desk staff if he knew of any reliable auto repair shop near by. He googled shops near the hotel and found City Express. It is now almost 6:00 pm and not many shops are still open. I called City Express and explained my situation and the noise my car was making. Unknown to me the owner's son Stephen answered the phone when I called and said he would be right over to the hotel. Five minutes later, Stephen arrived and within 10 minutes had one section of the bad part off (the blower cage to the air conditioner was cracked) and asked if we could follow him to his shop where his other tools were. We drove over there (without air conditioning) in the very humid rain, and it is now past 6:00 when City Express closes. Stephen got the rest of the bad part off, explained to us in detail what was wrong, showed us the broken blower cage, called a local parts store, gave us a written estimate of parts and labor, and went to pick up the part (which comes with a life-time warranty). He came back into the waiting room of the shop and handed us back our keys. He had already installed the new part. It is now going on 7:00 pm. The only thing worse than being in a town and state that is not your own, is having something go wrong with your car at closing time and not knowing one soul in that town, least of all an honest mechanic. Well, we found an honest and reputable mechanic and shop on that day and are extremely thankful to them for staying open late and working late, just to help us (total strangers) out in our time of need. Look. They wont blatenly screw you. But im not 100% sure they know what they are doing…read more My fuel pump died. They put in a new one. In doing so, they screwed up my gague for my gas tank, and i ran out of gas before my car started yelling at me. Also, there was an extremely strong odor of gas that i needed them to fix. The good news is they only charged me once. I went back to them multiple times to have them completely fix what was going on because my check engine light continued to turn on a few days after they fixed my car. The last time i was in, saying my engine light came on again and i still smell gas, im pretty sure they just turned off the check engine light and said they cant smell anything. Well my light turned on later, and the gas was noticable to my 7 year old daughter. So they did nothing. I decided to take it to a different shop. They said the gas smell was from a leak caused by a damaged gas tank. They suspect the tank was damaged from taking the fuel pump in and out. Aka. City express damaged my tank. So now im paying for it to be fixed.... again. Rest assured, i will pay extra to have my car towed exactly where i want it, and will not be going back here again. 2 stars because they were mostly nice (even if they seemed annoyed) and only charged me once.
