A bit of a drive out of Renmark on a scenic dirt road, we came upon this quaint little brewery. Tons of cars in the park meant it was a popular place. It is right on the river and the woolshed is still there but holds lots of pictures and memorabilia.
Prices were quite good and we only tried the Alcoholic Lemonade (8.1%!!) and it was very tart but I liked it. You could taste the grapes in it - very unusual and refreshing
The scenery was to die for - we could see a number of houseboats and dinghies moored right on the river side, and it was a short walk up to the brewery. Families, couples and mates were all outside in the sunshine. It was gorgeous.
It was also cool that you could buy local produce (cheese, crackers, meat etc) and they make up a platter for you to enjoy. Or you can even bring your own food - they wont judge
A nice spot to relax at - a little off the beaten track but totally worth it! read more
