I decided to step in here because, well, I wanted a coffee, and I also wanted to see what the coffee places in Loxton were like. Well, this one is certainly pretty popular, if the crowds were anything to go by, but that might have had something to do with when we actually visit. There were a decent number of cakes available as well. Yeah, I certainly did like this place.

They do a decent vanilla slice, the coffee is okay, and it's probably also a pretty good chance to grab that bottle of water you planned on buying as you left Adelaide but absent-mindedly forgot. This bakery supplies bread to most of the towns along this rather boring stretch of road. It's really quite good stuff. The staff are nice enough, friendly and efficient.

You will find dark wood used throughout the space. Floor to ceiling windows to let in natural light. Furniture and fittings leaning towards an industrial-like feel. Masculine materials such as polished concrete used in the facilities. It is particularly dark in here. Be warned. Despite the dark scheme, I found the place warm and contemporary with a timeless feel. One of our companions decided he would do a tasting of all their 'poisons'; brandy, whiskey (blend) and gin for the price of $15.00. Friendly and knowlegeable staff is what you will find here. A tour of the site is also $15.00 per person, but I recommend doing it on a weekday when the distillery is in full swing. This way you will get to see the distillers at work and they will answer your questions if not busy. I expect people will travel far and wide to have a gander at this new attraction. Surely, no roadtrip to Renmark will be complete otherwise. Highly recommended.

Yeah, its a brewery, and they have a great range of craft beers, though I must admit that I really wasn't a big fan of their fruitier versions, which really just tasted like softdrink. Anyway, their other beers were actually pretty good, and the location is awesome, being next to the river and all that. Yeah, I really did quite like this place, and it is worth checking out, especially if you like your beers.
